Weiser Benjamin DDS

I was a patient here for close to 8 years. Dr. Weiser is a great dentist and I really liked the practice. I referred my husband here because he didn’t like where he was going. He needed a significant amount of dental work and was going about 2 times a month to get work done for a period of time. After about 6 months of these frequent visits he forgot and didn’t show up to 2 appointments. They charged us 75 $ for missing those appointments, which we paid because he did miss them and I thought that was fair. I called to check on a bill (I had never missed an appointment) and they said btw you and your husband can not come back because he missed two appointments. First of all they didn’t even call us to tell us, I called about something unrelated. I would have taken off work and showed up for my scheduled appt for them to say sorry you can’t come here anymore. Secondly, why couldn’t I come back? I had never missed an appt and have nothing to do with my husband, an adult, missing his. Thirdly, we paid the missed fees which seemed like a fair consequence to him missing his appts. Kicking us both out of the practice seemed ridiculous. This actually happened about 5 years ago, but I just joined Unilocal and I’m still bothered by it. If you go to this practice, be on your perfect behavior otherwise they will kick you and your whole family out!
