We went to Duell’s Dinger Dome yesterday. It was a nice little facility for my son and husband to hit a few balls. The only downside to this place was that they didn’t offer more lanes with the slower speed. My son who is in Minor’s Little League had to use the faster pitching machine. Other than that this place is A-ok! The facility offers indoor batting cages with automated machines. There are 4 lanes available with a selection of different speeds. Below are the speed breakdowns: Cage 1: Baseball Medium — 50 mph & Softball Slow Pitch Cage 2: Baseball Medium to Slow — 45 mph & Softball Medium 50 mph Cage 3: Baseball Fast only — 60 mph Cage 4: Baseball Slow — 40 mph & Softball slow pitch The overall appearance is that the batting cages have been open for quite sometimes. The machines serve their purpose. General rules players under 18 must wear a helmet(they have them there if you don’t have one). You must be over 6 to hit. Hours: Monday-Tuesday-Thursday-Friday Noon-9:00 pm. Wednesday-Closed Saturday & Sunday– 10am-6pm Pricing: Tokens $ 2.00 each = 20 pitches 6 tokens for $ 10.00 20 tokens for $ 30.00($ 40.00) value Individual Hourly Rates — $ 40.00 an hour Team Rate(min 6 players) — $ 35.00 an hour per cage *They guy working there was SUPER nice and helpful! There are also 2 arcade games there for the kids who aren’t up for bat, they cost $.25 to play.
