Until having the screen on my iPhone fixed last week, I have never had a bad experience with Batteries Plus. This review is only to warn people considering using them for an iPhone screen repair. I brought my phone in last week. The screen and center button needed to be replaced. I dropped it off and they called to say it was done a few days later. When I picked it up I immediately knew something was off. I showed the guy that I was having trouble pushing buttons. After trying it, he decided I must have greasy fingers. OK… Maybe it is just me. I left and went home to have my wife try it. She agreed it was not working properly. I brought the phone back the next day, they again worked on it and I picked it up. It worked good for one day and then started acting up again. I took the phone back and this time the employee changed the screen while I waited. He and I tested it with the new screen and we agreed, again, it was not working correctly. He asked if I could leave it with him. I did. The phone was ready later that day. I picked it up, he said he had put several different screens on it and finally found one that worked. Then, he said they had been having a lot of problems with their screens, including one he had put on his phone. I took it home and it worked until this morning(2 days later). I was waiting until later today to take it. When I pulled it out of my pocket this afternoon I noticed it had a crack. I had done nothing out of the ordinary. I knew then that I was out of luck, or the good people at Batteries Plus were full of luck, whichever way you want to look at it. I took it in knowing I wouldn’t be getting anything out of my visit since it cracked on my watch. I asked the employee if they used Apple parts. He said no, they have been using the same company for years and had never had any trouble until recently when the company had started refurbishing old screens instead of sending them new ones. He told me that they don’t replace the ribbon on them so if the screen had any problems other than the front glass being cracked it goes unfixed. He said he had put 3 different screens on his phone before finding one that worked. I would not recommend anyone bringing their phones to them for screen repairs for a while.

Brand new store that just opened. Great selection of batteries an you guessed it — light bulbs. Smells like a new car in here.
