Bryan Golf Course

Well, the course rates are very reasonable. The fairway and greens are not too bad. Could use more maintenance. But hey, you get what you pay for. For the price, it’s pretty worth it. Marshalls and food/​drink cart person are pretty friendly. Overall its a good place to play 18 holes.

As my friend and I are warming up on the first tee box, an employee calls us from the clubhouse for us to come talk to him. Once we’re there, the employee proceeds to berate us for having the audacity to just jump in a cart and head out without paying first.
Only, we did pay. Not only that, the guy we just gave our money to all of 4 minutes ago is standing right there watching all this happen.
Once he’s done yelling at us, I explain that we had just given our money to that man right there. «Oh, are you the Reinhardt two-​some?» «Yes». «Oh, sorry about that, go right ahead.»
This interaction was so unprofessional on so many levels. He could have just asked us for a receipt, but instead decided to start with being an idiot and work his way back from there.
Secondly, the man who took our money clearly never even looked us in the eye, and rushed us out the door with little to no courtesy.
Finally, even if a mistake has been made, a mumbled apology is not good enough. If you’re clearly in the wrong, man up and say «I’m sorry, this won’t happen again». Don’t cower and slink away, it’s unprofessional and makes you look like a tool.
