Have a four year old dish washer. The gasket had become loose and was leaking. Called and ordered a new gasket. Darrel showed up and immediately said the problem was the top of the Washer was bowed. I should have gotten the Manuel out and showed him the picture looks just like the washer. He installed the gasket and ran a rinse cycle to check for leaks. After he was gone I realized the water was turned off to the dish washer. Of course it didn’t leak! At$ 120.00 labor to replace a $ 22 gasket seemed a little high. If a tech had come out to tell me I needed the gasket, that would have been a another service charge. I should have read the reviews before calling. I learned my lesson.

Bubba just came out to look at our washer and dryer. Very nice guy and very knowledgeable. Fixed the washer and also partially cleaned out the dryer vent(that was fun to watch). Would definitely recommend this company.

Have a rental property in Bryan. Management company called these people out for a dryer repair. Tech did not open the dryer insides, stated we needed a timer for $ 300 or it could be another problem or we could buy a new unit. I ordered the timer from Sears for $ 106 went to install it, found coins, dirts and lint in the timer area of the dryer. Had the tech opened the area where it was said to be bad, cleaned it out, I would not be writing this review. Charging for services not rendered is bad business and trying to sell $ 1000 laundry center is even worse. I choose not to employ these sort of companies. Run as fast as you can from people like this.

Company cancelled service repair appointment, employee stated she«found humor» that I was«rejected». Explained to her that myself, my parents and my late mother-in-law were long time repair/retail customers. She did not care, and referred me to take up my complaint with the owner’s son Bubba.

Have purchased a dishwasher, a set of washer and dryers, and a gas range from Buddy’s basically because of their service. The knowledge by the staff is extremely helpful as apposed to the big box stores where you never get the same answer twice. We have had service issues(yes with Brand New appliances) which is annoying but the service guys came out and got everything lined out and repaired for us in a speedy fashion. I will go back and buy again because of their service.

I was in the market for a new fridge. I knew the style I wanted but didn’t really care much about the brand as long as it was a trusted name brand! I did price comparison at Lowes, Sears, and Home Depot then headed to Buddy’s Appliance armed with the best prices from the stores listed above hoping to shop local. When I entered the store I was«greeted» by two women, one of which was sobbing at her desk and continued to sob the entire 10 minutes I was in the store. Believe me I understand wanting to cry at work but please go the bathroom, go home, crawl under your desk but don’t sit at your desk making customers uncomfortable. It may seem like I’m a bitch which is a probably a valid point but I have made a career in the sales, hospitality and customer service industry and nothing pisses me off more than poor customer service. The reason I go to mom and pop shops is for excellent customer service. So, I wonder around the store looking a refrigerators for a couple of minutes before approaching the non crier up front. I tell her this is what I want(a stainless steel refrigerator with french doors for $ 2500 or less) and can she help me? Apparently, this was difficult for her to understand she kept asking me what brand I wanted. To which I respond repeatedly I don’t have a preference on brand as long as it fits the other criteria. Finally, the conversation ended with her telling she couldn’t help unless I knew what brand I wanted and me telling her I’d go make a purchase else where so she could get back to her crying friend. I went to Lowe’s, purchased a Kenmore in under 15 minutes and got free delivery. I like to shop local, even if I spend a little bit more money, but I will not support bad customer service.

Quite pleased with the service provided by Buddy’s Appliance. When the water pump went out in our dishwasher they were here the next day and installed a new dishwasher without any drama. Job was done perfect while we were not at home, kitchen was clean and it works great. I do suggest using this local company in business since 1960.
