I nearly purchased a 2004 MINI Cooper S from this lot w/122,042 miles. First off, the asking price for this vehicle WAS & IS $ 8995!
The VIN is WMWRE33494TD80601. I am so relieved I took it to B&B Automotive for a lookover before purchasing. Grant (mechanic) found as follows: All struts are leaking & popping. Bad sensors for dash indicators (oil guage, brakes, tire air pressure) so elecrical issues. Drive belt has chunks out of it & is about to break. Oil cooler is leaking where it mounts to engine block. Lastly he found that the horn doesn’t work. I noticed that the stereo is just sitting in unmounted & rattles around loudly. When I returned to the lot & told them what was discovered… Suprise, they weren’t suprised. Best $ 40 I ever spent. I really wish I could select negative stars for this business.
