I stand by what I said on 12÷1÷15. The problems were real and too consistent to be overlooked. After I posted my one start review, the manager sought me out… We diswcussed the issues, and I showed him that he was serving out of date yougert(8 days past sell by date), and that his wi-fi is way too slow. Give the manager credit, he appologized and offered to do what was the right thing to do. It is a good sign that the manager is professional, I wish his subordinates were as competent as he is.

My buddies and I went to College Station for a Texas A&M game. I was shocked by how friendly the staff was at the Fairfield Inn and Suites! The complimentary breakfast was amazing and they even grilled out before the game for all the guests. I highly recommend this hotel for anybody going to college station. It’s also a 20 minute walk, or a $ 6 Über ride, to Northgate District. The rooms were very clean and overall well taken care of.

Place looks practically brand new. Little bit of construction on the block, but still quiet. Super friendly staff, pleasant lobby, clean and comfortable rooms. Bottom line, though, is I will book this hotel again because the shower was heaven. We’d gone to College Station to help a family member move. After spending the day moving furniture and cleaning the old place in 100+ degree weather, no weak spray shower was going to cut it. And we were not disappointed! Haven’t felt that clean and refreshed in a long time.

my husband and I stayed here on a whim, he had a friend who’s sister graduated and we last minute decided to come stay the night in college station, though it wasn’t the nicest, newest hotel to stay at, the staff was so friendly, and our room was clean, and this girl was happy! nice people win over everything!

I have stayed at a few hotels here in College Station, and although this isn’t a luxurious hotel by any means, having a hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms is hard to come by in some of these mid-level hotels here in Bryan/College Station so I am happy to find that here at the Fairfield. I have had everything from mold to mushrooms(NOTKIDDING) growing in my hotel room carpets so to have a clean feeling room is so nice. They also ha e a 100% guarantee that they will make it right if something is not to your liking. I haven’t had to «use» that feature yet at this hotel, but it makes me feel better that it is there. I do wish there was an extra blanket in the room as the comforter was a bit thinner than I like(and I like to keep the room cold) but other than that — the staff has been so nice!

The hotel is clean and modern. Breakfast is still one if those«freebies» but they have tried to upgrade it by making it a little more real(i.e. Maybe the eggs aren’t fake and cooked in a microwave – I’m not sure). The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. I forgot my phone cord and one of the front desk employees loaned me his personal cord. I was just asking to see if someone had left one behind, thinking I might luck out. I’ve stayed here twice now, it’s a decent hotel for the price point.

Probably the best place to stay in College Station these days. Fairfield Inn used to be a musty claptrap but they’ve renovated and the rooms are a welcome escape from College Station, even if for a few hours.

By far the most redeeming quality about this hotel is its incredibly friendly staff. I was consistently greeted by name every time I passed the front desk, and the woman working the free breakfast went way out of her way to get me something to eat when I showed up a few minutes after they officially stopped serving. Based on the service alone, I probably would give this hotel 4 – 5 stars. The property itself, however, leaves a lot to be desired. It feels pretty outdated, and my bathroom smelled strongly of urine. The bedspread was too light and there weren’t any spare blankets in the room, so I was cold all night. I don’t know where the nicer hotels in Bryan/College Station are, but this one isn’t one of them — particularly at $ 114/night, which is what I paid. Pretty much Exhibit A for why I prefer to make my own travel arrangements — the other folks in my office aren’t Unilocalers.

Don’t do it. Check the Motel 8 next door first. The staff is friendly and the facilities are ‘okay,’ but it’s not at all what I expected of a place with the Marriott name. The breakfast — although always a welcome benefit at a hotel — was extremely poor in quality and selection, and the entire third floor smalled heavily of mold(which the staff seemed oblivious too despite numerous complaints), a couple rooms were so bad that the guests asked to be moved(requests that were granted promptly, I should note). There aren’t a lot of hotel options in College Station but this will be last on my list to check availability on if I am this way again.
