They had my car for a month and a half, and were supposed to take care of a recall while they had it. When I got the car back, I was told the recall was taken care of. This was 8 months ago. I took my car into a dealer in Dallas yesterday, and when they pulled my VIN number the recall that Garlyn Mazda had «taken care of» was still open. The Dallas dealer took care of the recall for me. I am glad nothing bad happened during the 8 months that I thought my recall had been taken care of. I wonder if Mazda is aware of the dealership misrepresentations, and claims of doing repairs on recalls??? Did Mazda pay the dealership to do the repairs? Someone at Mazda may want to check into it. Pretty sure I am not the 1st person this has happened to.
