Well, are we running out of stuff to FTR in BCS or what? LOL! If you have happened to notice the giant 40 foot tall Darth Vader unlicensed Chinese replica(Hello Disney!) hot air balloon on top of the building that used to house Vietnamese Taste and the defunct laundromat that was closed for years… And happened to be wondering why that’s there? It’s a new store that opened today with a very simple name, I Stop. Worked, on me, I stopped. Was told I was the first customer ever. It’s a new hybrid smoke shop(AKA Head shop) and C-Store. Saw the open sign on today so ripped into the empty parking lot just hoping to find a food treasure inside… And no. They sell smoking devices, a huge selection of high fructose corn syrup drinks, energy drinks, candy and a huge selection of gum. They also have coffee from what appears to be a pair of premium looking machines. The drink I picked up was nice and cold as the coolers look brand new and the selection of energy drinks is the largest I have seen anywhere in Bryan /College Station. The selection for the location seems odd to me. Lottery tickets, beer, coffee and bongs in an area that is heavily Indian and Asian off campus student residences. Just wish they had some hot food like tacos or anything interesting.
