Took my push mower in that had not been started in about a year. They said it would be about a week. 4 days later they called and said it was done for a price a little below the quote. I picked it up in the rain and the guy climbed into my truck to strap he mowed down for me so I wouldn’t have to.

Okay, raising the rating to three stars after speaking with Ike’s owner, who has some stout conciliatory skills. Full disclosure: in my previous review, the fellows idly leaning against the workbench while I struggled with the mower may have been dawdling customers, not employees. Unbeknownst to me at the time, Ike’s has dedicated porters to help off-load equipment, which is a civilized business strategy.(Also, my height has changed to 5’1″.) All other comments still stand. Ike’s has a pickup and delivery service, but it is out of this frugal customer’s price range.

For courteous and profession service and quality American made products worth maintaining and repairing you should seek out Ike’s. These guys cater to the segment of the population that performs the commercial maintenance of lawns and gardens. The staff truly takes the time to get to know their products and how their customers plan to use the product. If you buy something to last or if you use it to make your living you cannot go wrong with Ike’s.
