I’ve been off of Unilocal for a while now, but I’m coming back to write a review just for this. I was extremely impressed with the staff and how frankly they discuss issues and options. They take the time to explain everything and trust that you are intelligent enough to make an informed decision instead of just throwing a solution at you and shooing you out the door. Reedy knew what he was talking about and was reasonable to boot — something I would like to see more of in general

I, too, had a bad experiene with the PA. I have nothing but good comments about Dr. Jones himself. I am now going to Dr. J. Weaver on Rock prairie. He is absolutely wonderful– knowledgeable with a great bedside manner Just a great dermatlologist on every aspect.

Sadly, dermatologists in Bryan/College Station are lacking. Terry Jones’s office is moving to more cosmetic dermatology more than anything, and as thus, I was only able to book an appointment with his Physician’s Assistant(PA). I have very negative feelings about this. Why am I paying a full co-pay when I’m only seeing a PA? How about I pay ¼ of the co-pay instead of full price? Augh… health care. I’ve been to this office several times over the years, not because I like it, but because there is nothing else available. I first went when I found a raised bumped on my chest. It was biopsied and found just to be irritation. No big deal. What was a big deal was how I was treated by the PA. When I came back for the follow up, he treated me like a pre-schooler using small words. He told me the biopsy showed benign irritation, but that I was probably«not educated enough to understand it.» Strike one. The PA proves himself to be a pompous jerk. He went to school for maybe 2 years after this bachelor’s(if he went to a program that required a Bachelors), and now he thinks he’s a God. BOOO! Strike two. PA wants to see the biopsy site, so I lift up my shirt to show that it was healing nicely. He sees tits and starts acting like an idiotic jerk with stammering and slurred speech. WTH? It’s just tits. It wasn’t like Mardi Gras of something. I’m not amused. Strike three. I go to checkout, and the asshole stands behind me staring at my butt. He continues to stare, obviously. He follows me out to the waiting room staring the entire time. If I wanted to be harassed, I’d go to a state prison. Oh wait, those inmates have manners. My last visit was for a reaction I had to Bath and Body Work’s Eucalyptus Mint hand soap. I used it on my hands and apparently developed a terrible case of environmental eczema(not diagnosed by him). To make a long story short, I had to see the PA again. He’s a jerk. Most of his answers to my questions are«I don’t know.» He prescribes me some creams and lotions. I go about my way. I roll my eyes on the way out the door. Later, I make an appointment with my allergist, Dr. Paull, and he refers me to Dr. John Wolf at Baylor Medical. Finally. A REAL dermatologist. I think this one star rating is too generous. Don’t waste your time. Go see Dr. Wolf at Baylor.
