I had a fantastic experience with Pop-A-Lock. I slipped on the ice and my apartment key disappeared. They were out in 19 minutes(on a late Saturday night!) and got my door open within 2 minutes. The service guy was super friendly, efficient, professional and personable. $ 50 isn’t bad for great, fast service after hours!

So our front door lock was getting stuck. As my wife and I are not locksmith(Well, she is an Engineer), we just assumed that the tumbler was worn out and needed to be replaced. The gentleman showed up exactly on time, was pleasant and had an entire mobile«shop» in his vehicle. Instead of selling us something we didn’t need, he was able to fix our door by lubricating it and then laser cut some awesome keys for free. He even explained the differences between conventional and laser cut keys. A total professional no doubt!

After calling them and being put on hold for 20 minutes the only thing they could tell me was that they had no technician with the skills to help me. What??? The lock I needed unlocked was a bedroom doorknob with a keyhole. How in the world do you run a locksmith business and not hire people who can do the job? Basically my impression of this company was that they simply didn’t want to help me because I wasn’t on site and proving my residency would be a problem. Instead of telling me that directly they gave me a silly and most likely false reason just so they didn’t have to deal with it. In Conclusion: Save your $ 50 bucks and try some DIY tricks or find another business.

They did the job for me a long time ago, so I figured I needed to owe them one. Even though their rate is slightly high at $ 34.95. Great friendly service by the way.
