This is a little hidden Gem in Downtown Bryan that until a few days ago, I didn’t even know it existed. It’s a little hard to find, and my iMap/siri got us close enough. The entrance is really on Bryan Avenue(not 26th St), and when you walk in, it’s a little hard to know where to go. Walk all the way up the stairs and in the door, yes even though it doesn’t seem right you ARE in the right place. The moment you open the door, it’s like you step into another world. This is a very eclectic theater experience that makes for the perfect experience. I saw«Othello» there on Friday night and was pleasantly surprised. It’s an intimate theater experience with a great vibe and great cast. You can tell that a lot of love and care is put into everything they do. During intermission, take a break and grab a drink(donations only) and take a seat on one of the many couches, grab a book and enjoy good company. This is a MUST visit for an intimate theatrical experience :)

I’ve been here three times now — once for Steel Magnolias(Feb 2013) and twice for SantaLand Diaries(Dec 2012). Stage Center is always a good time! The shows are put on with care, and I enjoy supporting local artists. Check out their shows! It’s a fun date night, or even a solo night out(and I’ve done both)!

Just took in a front seat view of Twelve Angry Men and I have to say that it’s the best performance of a stage play of anything I have ever seen. Absolutely excellent! Don’t miss the next three showings this weekend.
