DONOTRENTFROMTHESEPEOPLE! My new rental company may not be perfect, but Texas Crosswinds sets the bar incredibly low with regard to service. Would not have signed with them had I met with them, but a former roommate set up the lease while I was abroad. I was with them for 2 years, and a few months in they got rid of their office and went to a «mobile business» which was supposed to be more convenient(but really, «let’s operate from a PO Box and our cell phones so we have to do literally NOTHING»). When they need to talk with you they come to your place because they don’t have one, which I felt was weird and inconvenient as they were never available and often out of town. First impression: they had not finished cleaning the carpet on my move-in day, and they gave me THEWRONGKEY to my apartment, and when I got the correct key, it turned out that they had not changed the locks as they had promised(which we would not have known unless my dad had asked directly in the office). It was pretty much the same from there. They made numerous mistakes with rent, and were also incredibly inflexible with their agreements, not to mention the fact that it is next to impossible to get a copy of what you signed from them. Do not rent from them if you are with a group of friends, as they are not very clear about the fact that they do not lease rooms separately, so there is no way to get your deposit back until everyone moves out of the unit. Incredibly impractical for a college town, in my opinion. Debbie and Angie could be especially rude, especially toward myself as an undergraduate student. They seem to put on a good front and listen carefully when parents get involved, but they can’t seem to comprehend the fact that some of us students pay our own rent and actually keep up with their paperwork. It was really annoying to have to drag my parents into issues when they would say the exact same things as me. Look, I get that college kids can be flaky, but why mistreat ones who are actually trying to stay on top of things? I don’t understand how a place without an office that contracts everything out(aka tall they do is paperwork and money collection) can fail so badly. Very much a «YOUHADONEJOB» situation. If you are considering them… DO. NOT. DO. IT.

Évaluation du lieu : 1 College Station, TX
Extremely disappointed in this company. First, they were slow getting back to me. Once I scheduled a showing on a house and showed up to the location nobody was there. That’s not too surprising as realtors tend to be late in the College Station housing market(I’ve learned through 6 years of experience in house hunting) I called after waiting about 15 minutes, my call was answered by Carolyn who was irritated I called and acted like I was an idiot… Never once apologized that I had drove out of my way to see the house. Then proceeded to argue with me that she had called twice to cancel. I had never received any calls, texts, or emails. She even«saw Debbie call» apparently. Honestly, if she had just been nice and apologized I wouldn’t have even written this review! Instead she argued with me. If you can avoid using this company I would suggest doing so. She also did not even try to reschedule a time for me to try to see the house.
