This was recommended by a family member so we took a drive up to eat here since we were coming to lake Texoma anyway. I had the two catfish filet dinner served with fries and hush puppies. Dinner salad also came with the meal. Good price and decent food. Fish and pups were overlooked but flavor was good. An interesting garlic flavor on the fish coating. Fries were awesome. If you’re hungry and in the area, it’ll do.

We were in the area so stopped in for lunch. It was a small crowd but service was pretty slow. The food made up for the poor service. We ordered a catfish/shrimp combo to share. The Catfish was lightly battered and delicious. I especially liked the tartar sauce! The menu said the combo would come with 2 catfish fillets &3 shrimp, but it actually came with 5 shrimp. The hushpuppies were small, but tasty. They have all-you-can-eat catfish for $ 17.99. We will definitely make a return trip for it!

We stopped in and had the catfish. My daughter and I enjoyed our plate. My wife was a picky eater this day I guess since she wasn’t impressed. It’s a nice little pit stop off the beaten path. I’d recommend it if you enjoy the simple things in life.

Awesome catfish! EXTREMELY generous portions. Get the catfish strip plate! Coleslaw, a good dozen strips of fried catfish and a large portions of french fries and hush puppies! Yummmmmm

Do yourself a favor folks and visit this great little dive. Just across the dam from Eisenhower State Park sits this homely catfish joint. I found the fried catfish filets to be delicious! Light and crunchy batter with great seasoning encrusting a tender, flaky, and moist catfish filet. They did it right! Also had a few fried shrimp which were also good. The hush puppies though were over done but really the fish was worth it all!

I have been here many times over the years and wanted to update my review. First, Windy’s has been non smoking for years. Second, they serve up some of the best catfish in the area. The staff always treats you like family. I love going here when I’m in the area.

Wow, most definitely I’m a huge fan now of Windy’s catfish. It’s some of the best catfish I’ve had at a restaurant in many years. The cornmeal batter was perfect and not too thick and the fish wasn’t greasy at all. The day before my sister and brother-in-law had hamburgers there and they said they were also wonderful. Next time we’re staying at the campground, I’ll definitely drop in for another visit.

Best fried catfish I’ve had for ages! Fresh and plentiful with v. good fries for 9 bucks. All you can eat catfish for $ 15 at anytime of day. Not very promising from the road, it’s a old joint next to Lake Texoma. Interior is standard country café, although the place can probably seat 100 people. Menu is catfish, catfish, catfish and burgers. Catfish with crab, catfish with shrimp, catfish with catfish. You get the idea… We stopped in after a get-together and were wearing smart slacks, etc. We did not look like we belonged! Waitress warmed to us after a little hesitation, and was helpful and courteous throughout. Refilling our tea and checking that we were OK. If you’re at the lake, or just lost most of your money at Choctaw, you might stop in and check this place out.
