This place is closed. :(((((I had found it because the boyfriend wanted to get some Amish baked goods before heading out of the east, and I was so excited to try it, but instead I had to go to another local bakery (la dolce vita — excellent) and stuck around wandering the shops, farmers market, breweries, and delis in Bryson City. Nice town!
5 stars so as to not sully their good name. (All the locals said it was delicious!)

My wife grew up in Bethlehem, PA and her assessment of the food from this local bakery was that it was as authentic and delicious as it gets. You have to go here at least once but note that they are not open on Sunday and Monday.
Both of us had cinnimon rolls first thing in the morning and loved them. The sourdough bread was dense and the cinnimon was not over powering. The sticky topping was awesome and not overcooked and like caramel… real amish butter makes the difference.
Fortunately we bought a loaf of banana bread and an apple turnover to go. Both were excellent and lasted us through the remainder of the weekend.
