Carniceria Y Taqueria Durango

Durango is one of the best places to get Home made Menudo that is probably the best in AZ. The Al Pastor is to die for as well.
Check it out and see. Friendly service and atmosphere. This is not a fancy place but a place where you feel comfortable dinning.

Ok so I tried the shrimp coctail… the best part was the amount of shrimp you get. I did get the big shrimps in it there were a few mediums thrown in there. I was happy with that. so lets get to the rest of it now… The sauce was a bit to thick and tomato ketchup saucey. The veggies seemed marinated too long like soggy see through too long no crunch no freshness. I would have preferred a bit more avacado but thats ok I guess. Visually they could make it look more appetizing. Tastefully its missing the freshness and something else. Shrimpness is right on. I am not sure if this is only carniceria in buckeye but I feel bad for the locals that go here if it is. There is not much to choose from behind the meat counter. There is alot of wasted space and not enough meats to choose from at all. it maybe a waste of time to get down and check it out just go to IGA or a food city or maybe a drive to a real carniceria.
