Bonners Triple B Restaurant

This place is garbage I ordered all you can eat fish and so did 3 other people in our group of 9 to make a long story short they bought 3 fish out so I told my dad to eat them and told the waitress to bring me some 30 minutes later no fish so asked to see the owner. He came out and got so rude with us and cussed us so I told him what I thought of him and his restaurant. I would not ever recommend anyone to even waste your time or money there go somewhere else you’ll get treated so much better and get your food…

Went here while visiting home about 3 weeks ago on a Friday night with my mother and husband. I have heard many good things over the years but never eaten here. The place is rustic and quaint the staff friendly and helpful. Their specialty is supposed to be fish seafood and barbecue. We ordered catfish plates since it had been recommended. The dinner came with a trip to the salad bar. The salad bar was sparse with only iceberg lettuce, potato salad and cole slaw, a few tomato wedges. It was really a sad excuse for a salad bar. I ordered a catfish fillet plate which came with 3 small pieces of catfish wedges French fries and salad bar. The fish was very dry and not appealing at all. My husband lucked out in that he ordered a whole fish. His was much better and tasted good according to him. My mother barely ate her food at all.
The meals were about 12.00 per plate which was way overpriced for the serving sizes and quality of food. Drinks were about 2.00 each and they even charge .70 for water.
Needless to say, I will never return to this restaurant. Not only is it out in the boonies but don’t waste your gas thinking you will be getting good food. It was a bust. By the way, we took two takeout plates for my brother in law and sister who also said the food was terrible!
If you decide to go, take cash… no credit or debit accepted!

Dined here while on vacation based on a family member suggestion… it was fantastic. Arrived at 5pm and there were already people waiting for doors to open. Once in and seated my family and I were treated very well! Our waitress was terrific and took the time to make suggestions and explain about their signature sauce. Everything we ordered was amazing, I prepared to order. Portions are very good for the money and service is top notch. Great BBQ and I can’t wait to return someday soon when back in town. Also, if you like old tractors and farm equipment be sure to bring a camera!
