Yes, the name is strange — I agree! The atmosphere is bistro cozy, with subtle lighting and nice quiet music playing softly in the background. This is a BYO and there is a liquor store at one end of the strip shopping center where the restaurant is located, so stop in if you want to enjoy a nice glass of wine with your meal. I’ve had dinner here several times, and while I always enjoy my meal, I can’t help but notice that almost everything has the same flavor, due to the fact that it’s usually grilled over the grill and the food tends to take on the flavor of whatever the wood is that is used on the grill. This doesn’t make it bad by any stretch. The food is actually quite good and they certainly don’t skimp on quality, it just all tastes the same. I’ve had steaks, fish, crabs, etc. and all were good, but again the grilling flavor overcomes the food. Maybe a little less of the mequisite or whatever it is they use might to the trick for me, I don’t know. Sometimes the side dishes are not prepared over the grill, which is fine, but they’re nothing exceptional. I will say that I always enjoy their dessert offerings. All are clearly homemade and different every time we go. The service is always pleasant and accommodating and they do a nice job accommodating large groups.

The other reviewer likes the name… hmmm… I don’t. To me «just eat» suggests fast food, and no fun, Just eat and get out. And the name in white letters with black background I saw as gloomy, uninviting, sort of funeral home atmosphere. It’s next door to «Earth foods», excellent health food store which i visit quite often, but I never ever felt the urge to see that place. Especially that in the same shopping center is «Siam cuisine’ which I like a lot! But during the long Labor Day weekend someone of our guests had the idea to go there. I was so glad I did! There is such a happy mood inside. Really! it’s a BYOB, the liquor store is very close, and even that would be enough! Service is fast and helpful, food is good(ours was also very healthy, it seems to me a perfect place for health-oriented people) . I was there only once and was pleasantly surprised. Although I still like Thai kitchen better it might be a good place if you want to have some drinks … or if you want to eat healthy. Or like us — both! UPDATE: My rating stll stands– however the name of that place has changed! It’s COPPERLEAF now.

First notable to love about this restaurant is its name. It elucidates how to enjoy and appreciate this cozy, elegant bistro. Just Eat! The charm is apparent immediately. Chef owner Marc is masterful at cooking in his open kitchen with the hardwood, charcoal-burning grill. It’s a window into the world of a chef. For front row seats plant yourself at the bar area facing the grill and prepare to be spellbound. Not to mention the enormous array of entertainment and education watching the activity. It’s just fun. The restaurant is next door to the wine and spirits shop so wandering over to get a bottle of red or white wine is easy. It’s just uncomplicated! Also, it’s the ideal restaurant to be daring. The tasting menu is divine and the rack of lamb is flawless. As part of their efforts to keep all their customers happy I love that there is the option of the Bistro Menu offered Sunday’s thru Thursdays. Do not even consider leaving without dessert. Whatever you do — save room or take it with you! Go there and Just Eat!
