Babbitt Septic Design

I have been living in the Fife Heights area for the last 12 years. In our first home, we had a major problem with a leaking gravity septic system many years after buying the home. We paid several contractors to fix the problem with no results (they all thought it was the drain field). Based on a neighbor’s recommendation we hired Mark Babbitt and he quickly determined there was a hole in the tank and REPLACED the tank for less than any of the other estimates we had from other contractors. When obtaining the permits from Pierce County everyone at the permitting office knew Mark. It was obvious he had a great reputation with the county. We had no further issues with that system. Years later, we upgraded to a nicer home in Fife Heights. We immediately had septic issues with the new home so we again call Mark. He tracked the problem down to a broken pressure line and repaired the pipe for years of trouble-​free service. He even came back two years later to fix one more hole that was in the old section of line he hadn’t touched before.
While owning septic systems I have talked to a lot of non-​reputable and/​or ignorant contractors in this area. Babbitt Septic is as good as it gets.
