I never thought it would happen like this. I always figured that it would happen during an exciting departure from the norm. Perhaps a trist with a girl I’d met at the bar, or after a series of bad days and worse choices, from a hooker that I would later be unable to pay for services rendered. But that’s not how. It happened after checking in and being greeted by the friendly staff. After settling into my room that was modestly appointed with outdated appliances and a bathroom that only looked clean if you were both drunk and paying little attention. In the room with damaged walls and an AC unit that shuddered an occasional death-​rattle as it blew sweet cool air, that’s where I caught crabs, laying alone in my rented bed… well, not really alone.

I stay at a lot of hotels. The staff here is friendly and responsive. Room /​bathroom is clean. Check in is fast. I’ve stayed here multiple times and everything has been consistently good to very good

If you’re heading to Crystal Mountain to ski, this is a clean and inexpensive place to stay. We stayed with our kids and were happy with the service, even though we didn’t need much.
