I took my 10 month old puppy to stay at hobo dog haven over the weekend. He came home with a bite mark across his nose and cuts on his nose and under his eye. He was also limping and lethargic. He is a sweet and non-aggressive dog. When he first came home, he was also ravenously hungry and thirsty. I am so upset he was not properly supervised. I will never take my dog back here.

I took my dog to Hobo due to price($ 25 a night) and for the fact there is an outside area for them to romp. I was very impressed by the website. Now my Labradoodle can not tell me how her 3 day/2 night experience was, but I can tell you what I observed. There is a huge area for the dogs to roam — all fenced in. The dogs also have run of part of the owners mobile home. I can not imagine how this could be a sanitary situation and we were not allowed in the mobile to check it out. The dogs are never crated. When I picked up my dog, she was the most tired I have ever seen her and she has frequented other boarding facilities. She had lost 2 pounds in 2 ½ days! She was very thirsty. I see a huge problem in having a large number of dogs and not having the dogs have their own individual space to sleep or rest. Even though my dog is 1 ½ yrs old and full of energy, I think she would have been much better off in a situation where she could get a little rest. This will be my only visit to Hobo.
