Beautiful trails of butterflies and birds– nice quiet and peaceful to do my daily runs and walks.

This park has had a major overhaul in the last couple years. There are now lots of maintained trails, bathroom facility, community gardening spaces — that you can rent, and space zoned to fly model planes. From the dog owner point of view this park is lacking enough trash receptacles along the path and the few that are available are very small capacity. With that said by all of them are dog poo bag dispensers that were all stocked. There is a lack of park rules — etiquette here though. There needs to be more signage about requirements to pick up after your dog and disposing properly as well as tips for bike riders and runners. While it should be generally known that if you are coming up behind someone on a trail in a park that is adjacent to a major 12 lane highway you should announce yourself and what side of the path you are coming up on so as not startle/wreck into pedestrians. Signs giving tips to this affect and other park rules would be helpful. As for the trails they are covered in small fine gravel which can be annoying but I don’t mind it. The major issue I see is that in the hotter months it might be hard to walk here during daytime since there is very little shade along the paths. All in all it is not a bad park now. I will hope in vain that they will turn one of the fields into a dog park someday.

I was told that there was gorgeous gardens here and it was a beautiful nature spot. No. This is a place where a crazed killer would take you so no one could hear you scream. Dramatic? Take a stroll through there then… at your own risk.
