Been driving through Bucyrus for years! Craving Chinese and decided to take a chance.
Inside, few people were waiting for their takeout orders so I was encouraged. Decided to order the safest thing on the menu! Chinese vegetables with steam rice with the white sauce on the side. Also got the rice soup. The girl albeit super friendly was a little confused by the order with sauce on the side. She however barked the instructions in Chinese to her chef dad who looked equally confused but nodded his head at the request.
The portions were huge! The rice looked and tasted decent! Vegetables (Napa cabbage, snow peas, carrots were pretty fresh. Water chestnut taste like the brine it cam in. The sauce was quite tasty! Nice white sauce with a hint of garlic. Not too salty! Not too sweet. Not super thick. Surprising! Added the sauce to the rice and was pretty good.
This place is a little better than the typical storefront Chinese franchise. I would stop again.

Well after giving this place two tries, ultimately I think we have a non-​winner. I have been here twice, the first time ordering beef with mushrooms and this last time pork egg fu yung, each time with an egg roll. While the beef with mushrooms did offer a copious amount of mushrooms, the beef was tough and not overly tasty. The egg fu yung, while obviously cooked to order, was 100% tasteless, as was the watery gravy they served with it. No amount of soy sauce was able to change the taste. The patties were huge, but found their way to the trash after I suffered through the meal as best I could. The egg rolls, while also made fresh (as evidenced by the huge tray on the counter where the staff was making them, also had little taste and were disappointing. I hear through the grapevine that they have good crab Rangoon. I might give that a try one day and if warranted update my review. For now however, I won’t return for any entrees of any sort.
The location is small, slightly dingy, but not anything that would give you reason for pause. These type places usually have the best food. Parking was ample and the staff was, well, not overly friendly, but not rude.
I’m not exactly sure how many Chinese restaurants are here in Bucyrus. I know of two — this one and the buffet. I will try the buffet again and see which is the lesser of two evils.

This is one of those places that I would drive by and never consider because of the outward appearance. However, after talking with some folks who raved about the food, I decided to give it a try. I could not have been more wrong about this place — food is always fresh, and hot. I can’t even begin to describe how large the portions are. We always end up getting two meals out of their servings, at a minimum.
