This place is the WORST. We’ve had so much trouble getting out of a contract. Sent multiple certified letters just to have them returned. Told over and over we can’t cancel any other way. The owner Omar is a total jerk. My husband was excited for the new location to open because it has child care, but I wouldn’t trust this place with my kids. If you want a good workout, RUNFARAWAYFROMTHISPLACE.

Unbelievable! I just got a phone call from this place saying I needed to pay when I already paid them off! Truly a SHADYBUSINESS!

The Buda Gym closed and moved to Kyle. This is the worst gym we have every encountered. Staff is condescending and when you have a problem with a machine or a question about any of their equipment they laugh at you. We signed up on Monday, went Tuesday, and canceled on Tuesday. We were having so much trouble with machines and every time we ask the desk person he just acted like we were stupid. We are both retired and wanted to firm and tone and the muscle bound clerk treated us with no respect. They tell you that all the equipment is so superior to all the gyms in Austin and they have the best of the best but if you do not have enough strength to adjust the machines I would say there is an issue. The machines are old and worn. We came from Austin with memberships at Lifetime where the machines are new easy to adjust clean and very helpful staff. We canceled our membership on Tuesday and were told we had to follow the instructions on the contract when my husband ask what the instructions stated he was told«it is on the contract CAN you Read». The contract says you must send them a certified letter within 3 days including the contract and the membership cards. We sent what was required on Tuesday in a certified letter. We tracked the certified letter only to discover the post office took the letter to the gym at 11:01 on Thursday morning only to be told no one could sign for it so it was sent back to the post office. When we went to the post office the postmaster said they never sign the certified cards and that she has had several customers come to her with this issue. She said they never come to post office and puck of the certified cards. So what they are doing is telling customers that you can cancel but they are not accepting the letter so we cannot be in compliance with their requirements. Suggestion Do NOT sign up for this gym and if you do make copies of everything, call your credit card company and get it stopped and also contact the Attorney General Consumer Protection division plus call the Secretary of State at 512−463−6906 and the Better Business Bureau. The owner is Omar Overturf. The Security of States office says they are not a registered gym which is a state law. These people are scam artist and they lie about everything. Watch out for the biggest liar a muscle bound guy by the name of Omar the owner.

My first impression: CROOKS! Came home to read up on their reviews, I just thank God for this spot on intuition that Ihave! DONOTJOIN! I also wanted to add this on… what gym charges for a week pass? Really? 25.00 for a week pass?! Odd.but on their website it was FREE. But not when u walk in and ask! MFRs
