Rosebrock Veterinary Clinic

Up until today, Rosebrock have been good to my mom and her cats, and would have easily received a ⁴⁄₅ Star Review. However, one of her cats was given flea treatment on Friday using Adams Spot-​On and DIED on Sunday, and her other cat has been crying non-​stop for an hour this morning (after receiving the same flea drops on Sunday — before the other cat died), and not only will Rosebrock not see my mom for an EMERGENCY, they will not accept the body of her dead cat for a necropsy ordered by the ASPCA Poison control. MY vet in North Carolina has ALWAYS worked us in for any emergency and, after speaking with my vet in North Carolina and the ASPCA vet, this IS an emergency.
Sorry Rosebrock, your (lack of) compassion is appalling.

We brought our baby home yesterday. We asked that she be cremated and I can’t say enough about the services rendered. She came in a beautiful wooden box with her name carved into it. Also included was a certificate of when she was cremated and some very heart felt «pet poems».
We placed her on the mantle with her collar on top so she can be with us in the living room.
I hope that there is a doggy heaven and we can see her again… best dog we’ve EVER owned and its still a punch in the gut every morning.

Dr. Rosebrock was recommended to us because our old county veterinarian moved to Bandera TX. We were using a couple of places on Brodie lane but were so disappointed by «big box» hustle and bustle feel of these turn and burn doc in a box places. Always asking us to pay for expensive tests for this and that.
Like goldilocks, we’ve found the «just right» place for our pets and most importantly our pets are receiving the best care ever.
The clinic is not fancy by any means. It’s behind a church with a dirt parking lot and a simple waiting area. Dr. Rosebrock and his wonderful staff (Barbara is the cornerstone of this business) really care about your animals and their health. Great care, great prices and all with a small town feel that’s sorely missed in this ever changing «Metro-​plex» we call Austin.

Absolutely love Dr. Bob and his staff! They helped my family and I tremendously through a very tragic time in our lives! Very helpful, loving, honest and affordable. Family oriented — just love them all!

Hello! I tried to call but it sounded like a fax. I found a female dog on breaker and sage hallow in Austin with a vaccination tag from your clinic. I’d love to get the dog home tonight please help. 47 801 is the vaccination #. She is about 25 pounds, looks like a corgi mix, long hair. She has a black collar.

Dr. Rosebrock and staff are so good with animals. They are always honest about treatment options and realities. The only complaints I have is the weird hours. They are only open 4 days a week. I also struggle with balancing both my dogs when we walk in to get them away from the «office cat» and «office dog» lol. The front desk technician may sound gruff– but she is sweet and supportive. Best vet we have ever been to.

Dr. Bob Rosebrock and all of the staff at Rosebrock Vet Clinic get the highest regard in my opinion. Service is great, the doctor is down to earth and will take time to explain things. They have a very busy practice and they are in the business because they care, not for the bottom line! That is very hard to find in this day and age. Kudos to all who work there and allow our pets and animals to have a healthy fuller life and allow us to give the care they so deserve!

This clinic does not overcharge and is so reasonable. Dr. Rosebrock does right by the animals and cares about them just as we do. We were referred to this farm-​like small clinic when we moved down here and we have gone nowhere else. Vets can usually overcharge for simple services, and this has never been the case. We are so happy to have found this clinic. They’re not open everyday and I’m unsure to the exact days and hours, so always call ahead.

Dr. Rosebrock saw that our dog was needing treatment, but recommended a low cost treatment, when he could have just as easily said lets do this expensive one. He cares about the animals AND your pocketbook! Great guy! The clinic doesn’t get 5 stars because sometimes customer service on the phone is sometimes less than to be desired. It’s just because they are super busy.

LOVE Rosebrock. We’ve been taking our great dane here for a couple of years and couldn’t be happier. I’m always confident that Dr. Rosebrock is going to point us in the right direction without taking advantage of us — you don’t have to worry about being up charged for services or being pushed towards any unnecessary testing or vaccines. Dr. Rosebrock and the staff are knowledgeable, straightforward and completely hands on with the animals — which is especially impressive when you’re dealing with 150lbs of dog. I’ll say it again: we love Rosebrock — but more importantly, so does our dog!

I loved Dr. Rosebrock — He was great for my puppies — unfortunately I had to move — even then he recommended another great Vet on my new town — If you are looking for someone that is very confident and up to date in practices and no fancy stuff — he is the vet to go!

Took our new puppy in for her first shots. Dr. Bob was great, the receptionist was great. I really liked the office, it was a country vet practice. Very laid back and relaxed, a comfortable and helpful staff.
