This Walgreens has the best customer service out of every one I have been to in Austin or the surrounding areas. We ordered Christmas cards and photo prints recently and the photo department was very helpful and patient. The two reps we worked with I believe their names were Stephanie and Jose(I am sorry if I am wrong, it has been awhile since I have been in) went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. I wanted to leave them both reviews from the receipts but we have since lost them. These two both deserve raises! Thank you for the smiles and great service.

Rude, stupid and incompetent. Will never set foot in this place again. They hire cheap labor to work the pharmacy. By and large the pharmacy assistants are polite but not all of them. In any event they don’t know what they are doing. The pharmacists are a bigger problem. They make mistakes too frequently and after admitting doing so refuse to take responsibility. They shortchanged me on a prescription and wouldn’t make it right for one month because they would have had to re-file with my insurance. So I’m short my prescription? Yes, they said, sorry. I show up again and the SAMEPROBLEM. They only filled half of the prescription and then claimed that it was the doctor’s fault although it clearly wasn’t. Will not go through this unnecessary hassle and expense again. STAYAWAY. There are plenty of pharmacy alternatives. Don’t put up with lousy service or trust your health to boobs. On top of this store being the pits, Walgreens has an office somewhere that calls me personally to remind me to refill my expensive prescriptions. They offer to handle it for me and then insist that I give them HIPPA information over the phone. When I decline they become rude. Trolling for dollars. It is shameless.

These people always go above and beyond with customer service. I go to their pharmacy department quite regularly and they are knowledgeable on their drugs. This walgreens seems to always have exactly what I need and its easy to get to. Granted, you may pay a little bit more, but in order to not have to fight the crowds at HEB for one or two things I will go there anyway.

These guys actually called me to inform me my prescription was filled. Like a real person. I was at a loss for words, having grown accustomed to the canned robot looped message that always manages to start in the middle, and then repeats to tell you that your prescription is ready. Anyway, yeah, a real person. «Ummm…yeah…uhhh…thanks…» I respond, thinking there must be some sort of problem I haven’t picked up on. «So, I’ll just come pick it up then… uhh…this afternoon?» I dangle it out there, providing an opportunity to fill me in on any particulars I might have missed that merited a personal phone call from a pharmacy tech. «Yep, it’s ready.» «Okay. Well, thank you.» Yes. Thank you. Thank you very much, Walgreens pharmacy.
