I went here once a few months back to get a pedicure and it didn’t even last for a week. I have gotten pedicures at many types of places and they always last a minimum of 2 weeks. I thought I would give it another try so I went back for a shellac manicure. That manicure chipped after 5 days. Shellac is supposed to last around 2 weeks. The worst part? The girl who did my nails was playing Christian music the entire time and had hand lotion that said Jesus Loves on it. I’m a small business owner and I know that religion has no place in your business. It’s inappropriate and offensive. If you want to run a Christian business then you are free to do so, but promote it that way. Please don’t be small minded and assume that everyone is Christian. Buda may be the country but there are people out here of all religious backgrounds. Know that if you are going to do that, then you risk offending some customers.

First of all, this place is under new management. I know the past reviews sound bad but this is a different place. When you make your appointment ask for Delia she has been cutting my hair for over a decade. I have always been extremely happy with her skill and attention to wonderful customer service. I just moved to Buda and I’m glad that I only have to go down the street for a great haircut and a friendly smile. The salon is cute, clean and in a great location. I look forward to taking advantage of the other services that they have to offer. Give it a try if you are in the area, I promise you won’t be disappointed :)

Horrible experience. All I wanted was a massage. Next thing you know you toe nails are painted, hair colored and they added a mask. They sure we’re quick to tally all that into the bill, even though I didn’t ask for it. Anyways, I’ll be hitting the Asian parlor instead, much«friendlier» staff.

Just me but I believe that a spa should be a bit more accommodating. I had an appointment and prepaid specialty service I had to fufill within two weeks, I had to cancel my appointment due to getting the flu. As requested i canceled more than 24 hours in advance, never hear back with a confirmation as requested, letting them know that I was sick. By the time I was fully better the deadline had passed, I called two times to see if there was anything they could do with no response. Finally I tracked them down and was told not only would they not just go ahead and honor the prepaid service, but that they would only honor the purchase price and that the service I had paid for was not an option.(not to mention being short and acting like they had no clue what i was talking about. This is now a waste of money and I won’t go back! Note: This was a Groupon for«One Area-Specific Body Wrap», and once expired the rule becomes«The amount paid($ 25.00) will never expire and may be applied toward the original goods or services specified on this voucher.» Which would be fine, except as mentioned before, per my last phone call, they do not offer original the service, of a an area-specific body wrap. Complete waste!

Aweful experience. Went there with a Groupon for a spray tan. They were not friendly at all. The spray tan I got was blotchy and very uneven. I was going out of town and was so embarassed by what they did. I was given no after care instructions, left in the room drying myself and dint know if I was suppose to come out or continue until they showed up. After 15 min. I finally came out. The tan lasted 3 days, thank goodness. I was tols 7 – 10 days. The person who did it was in a hurry and didnt seem to want to be there. I am glad that it was a groupon and only paid 15.00 for it as if I paid the 30.00 original price I would have been more upset. I did contact Groupon as well. Which said they would pass on to the Spa. I NEVER heard back. BAD customer service! A waste of my time and money. I would say STAYAWAY from this place. If I could give negative stars I would!

Took my daughter here for her 15th birthday. Let me start by saying that the services for the body wrap and facial that I did were great and that her facial and mani/pedi were great. But when she went back to get her teeth whitened(just had braces removed) she was basically told to do it herself that he was not licensed to do it. The guy left her in the room, did not explain how to do it and walked out. Also, prior to her having it done, he asked if I wanted to skip the teeth whitening and leave the $ 70 as a tip — not cool at all! When I called to speak with the manager Donna, she acted like this is was no big deal and that this was their process. That none of their staff is licensed to do the teeth whitening. And that because I was there(as a parent) then everything was ok. NO, it was NOTOK! If «the process» would have been explained to me, first off, I would have never paid to have it done there and 2nd — if I did have it done there I would have went in the room to atleast help my daughter!!!

This review is a bit late in being written but I see that nothing has changed :(My husband treated me to a massage, main-pedi and facial at Whitestone Day Spa. I was so happy to see that it had opened because it was convenient to my home. I called for an appointment and the«manager/owner» put a call into his fantastic massage therapist and set up my appointment. I got a call a little while later and was told that the massage therapist couldn’t be there until 1:30 pm. I had a 90 minute massage set up, and they close at 5pm… I was rushed out of the massage hurting and I have been getting massages for over 20 years and never hurt afterwards. I had a facial that was sub par. I then went for my mani-pedi and the technician pulled the nippers out of her purse! GROSS! She proceeded to give me the worst mani-pedi that I had ever had. I was rushed from room to room so they could get me out the door by the time they closed. I was sent out with wet nails… The cost of this«spa day» was over $ 300.00 with tips. This was the worst experience that I have ever had. My husband felt so bad! The owner of this business has no idea what he is doing and needs to close up shop!!! Please dont waste your hard earned $$$ at this establishment… I later found out that Rebel Cleaners next door is also earned by the same owner. It is as poorly run as Whitestone Day Spa. They messed up my clothes and charged me a tremendous amount of $$ to do so… Thumbs down :(

This review is in reference to a post on 6−10−11 regarding the Brazilian Blowout. I too had a terrible experience. Elizabeth performed the Brazilian Blowout and it only lasted two weeks if that long. I also had a color put in my hair, which washed out. I emailed Elizabeth letting her know how disappointed I was regarding the treatment. I wanted to find out if she could touch up the color and redo the Blowout. Basically she replied saying that happens. I also emailed the owner, Donna and never got a response. The only reason why I’m responding is I am reading other reviews noting the same issues. The customer is always right and has the right to complain when a service is paid for and the results are not satisfying.

I REALLY want to like this place. I had several treatments before leaving on vacation earlier this month. I waited to write a review to give myself plenty of time to think. Was it really such a bad experience or was it just me? The first procedure I had at Whitestone was eyebrow waxing and color. I had come in to have my brows done as well as a manicure, pedicure and spray tan. I was told when I arrived that the manicure tech was not in. That was fine, no problem, I planned to leave Whitestone and go directly to the little nail shop I usually patronize. After my brows being done at Whitestone, I walked into the smaller nail salon and the manager asked if I wanted my brows done along with my manicure. I smiled and told her, «I just had them done fifteen minutes ago». She called over another tech, they talked for a minute, asked me where I had gone and said«I fix them for you for free». She gave me a hand mirror and showed me what a mess they were. She was right. The skin above my eyebrows were colored, half of the right brow was not. The pedicure I received at Whitestone was more of a polish change than a real pedicure. No foot work, no massage and the tech cut the heck out of my little toe. The spray tan was fine. Like I said, I really wanted to like the place. It’s convenient to my home, it smells great and it offers a variety of services. It has a lot of potential. The staff is very nice, but it did not work out for me.

Not the best Pedicure I have ever received, but was the most expensive. Is now one week post and I could use another.

Sorry to say I was pretty disappointed in my experience at White Stone Day Spa. I went in on June 1st for a Brazilian Blowout(I have had one before and I absolutely LOVED it) so I was very excited to be getting one again. Sadly I am extremely disappointed. I was warned the first time I got the procedure done that not everyone does this the same, or uses the product correctly, and I feel that is the case here. The last time I had this done to my hair, it took about an hour and ½ and my hair was completely whetted down with product. Alicia BARELY coated my ROOTS with product, and I felt like I was only in the salon for 45 minutes. I was also warned that some stylists dilute their product, and while I have no way confirm this, I can only say that the last time I had my my hair done was in January, and my hair had just started to look curly again in the last couple of weeks. With the procedure I had done on the 1st, I see little to NO difference in my hair at all! It was like I had nothing done to it! My hair is still curly, even frizzy, and it seems like Alicia ignored parts of it all together when she ironed it out. My last blowout left my hair silky, smooth and STICK straight! This is fairly uncommon for most people, but I know how my hair reacted last time, and I do not feel like I had good product placed on my hair, or I would have had the same result. The only reason I have waited 6 days to place this review is because the day of my appointment I had a tragic family emergency. ***** Changed my original review from two stars to ONE star because the day after I posted this review I got a VERY rude email from the Owner of the salon. Honestly I was not surprised by this because it seems that any time anyone posts something that is not favorable to the salon, Donna replies to them with a snotty comment, but I was pretty appalled, none the less. Alicia sent me a much nicer ACTUAL apology which I appreciated, however I will still not be returning to the salon to get my hair done. It is clear to me that they do not know what they are doing when it comes to a Brazilian Blowout. After speaking to three other salons, having all of the stylists tell me the same thing AND seeing ANOTHER groupon today which clearly details the procedure is supposed to entail ROOTTOTIP coverage of the product it is clear to me that this salon does not perform the procedure correctly. I have in writing from Alicia that she clearly believes that she is not supposed to do it that way… hence the reason my hair did not turn out OK. VERYDISAPPOINTED. If anyone wants to know where to go and get the procedure done and have it ACTUALLY work, there is a wonderful salon in Round Rock.

A free haircut means a bad hair cut! I went in to get a trim and came out with a hack job. I explained to the hair stylist that I wanted no more than an inch taken off and just a trim. I had really long hair so I was very adamant about not cutting it short and only a trim. Well 4 inches off the bottom and mounds of crazy layers I came out with a hack job. The hair cut was so bad they didn’t make me pay. I was not impressed with the management either. After explaining my dissatisfaction she tried to put the blame on me. She kept asking if I explained what I wanted correctly and insisted that the hair dresser explained what she was doing. No way in my life would have chosen this hair cut and I have never in my life asked for my hair to have layers all over it. However, they did comp. the hair cut, which is the least they could do since I already spent $ 140 on other services. My hair could not even be fix because it was so badly cut. It is literally ruined and it will take me over a year to regrow it to an acceptable length to have it fixed. Such an awful experience and the management did not make me feel any better about the situation. They just acted like it was my fault because I didn’t like the hair cut(did I mention I did not ask for a hair cut but a trim instead!!!), they completely ignored the fact that the hairstylist ignored my repeated requests and even when I started to ask her why she was cutting my hair like that during the cut she says«It will look fine, you have just never had a good hair cut». Well, I can tell you I have officially had my worst hair cut! It looks awful and now I have to rock this chop job for the next year. Don’t go here if you love you hair or if you want good costumer service. Plan and simple, if you screw up someone hair the least you can do is apologize. The comment below from the White Stone Day Spa Staff explains the level of professionalism. Still have yet to receive an apology

I just got back from White Stone Day Spa. I went in with my some neck and back pain… I saw massage therapist, Rebecca, she was GREAT! When getting a massage, I normally go 60 minutes, but due to the pain, I opted for the 90 minute with hot stones. It was well worth it! She loosened up my shoulders and neck. She also relaxed me overall. She advised me on what to do for the next week, instead of just saying«peace out» like most people do. This place is hidden, I never would have found it! It’s rather new and super clean. I think it would be a nice fit for anyone. They offer many other services. Check out their website. It’s a little more expensive than the normal chain«massage envy», etc., but worth the extra. Go check it out! I think on my next visit I will see how the pedicures are… I will update on that.

My husband gets me the same gift for all major holidays… a gift certificate for a spa day, which I love. For the last few special occasions, he has purchased a gift card to Whitestone Day Spa. I’ve had good experiences at Whitestone, but not absolutely exceptional. The atmosphere is quite nice… exceptionally clean and well designed. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The only services I have received there are massages, facials, and mani/pedis. The massages have always been fantastic. The facials have been hit or miss. My first facial there was exceptional. However the facial I received today left a lot to be desired. I’m convinced that today’s facial was the very first this particular esthetician has ever administered. I definitely recommend this day spa for a massage, but will probably drive into Austin for my next facial.
