This show is inside the Holiday Inn. Check the website for the dates. Basically, a variety of sellers gather here and stuff the room silly with dolls and doll accessories. Sis and I have been coming to this show for years. Inside the showroom, we’ve found vintage Barbie dolls and clothing, Tonner dolls, and the elusive Fashion Royalty collection. There’s also vintage furniture collections, as well as exclusive designer furnishings. Dolls can be had clothed or unclothed, mint in box or sans box. Doll bodies and heads also can be purchased. I’ve gotten great deals here, and have also purchased a number of Sis’ birthday gifts. I used to try to surprise her, but since she was usually at the show with me, I gave in and let her pick out her birthday dolls herself. She is particular about the faces. If you didn’t know already, no doll is ever painted exactly like another doll. There are minute differences in the facial screening. So Sis and I hunt through the assortments of dolls looking for the most attractive face for our taste. I enjoy rummaging through the seller’s bins and finding doll-sized bits of treasure.
