especially in pharmacies!
i mean, if you have health insurance, the cost of your prescription will be the same everywhere you are. they cannot overcharge you by law. would you rather support a corporate company with ethics that are stated, but never shown, or a local business, who will know your name, get to know you, and feel like you’re a part of the fam?
i live less than ten minutes away from here. all i have to do is call in and head out and as soon as i arrive, my prescriptions are ready. the longest i have had to wait is when i walked in person and didn’t call in advance. still though, ten minutes to wait (it feels shorter, always) is helluva lot better than waiting fifteen-​twentyfive at target.
plus, the parking is a little bit better. it is a small lot walled off and sad? bad? but good? that it has never been busy for me.
the counter service is really friendly. they speak english very well, both receptionist/​service & the pharmacist.

This is a small neighborhood pharmacy, but the prices are competitive with bigger chains, the pharmacists are very knowledgeable and attentive, and service is very quick. Walk-​in prescriptions are filled in minutes, and when your prescription expires they follow up with your doctor for immediate prescription renewal by fax. They also accept my crummy HMO insurance!
The business is Korean owned, but everyone speaks English well. After a few visits they learned my name and family members, and have reminded me on occasion to refill my daughter’s prescription when I forgot.
I’m glad to support a local business like this, where I can get good service and good prices, without the hassles and long lines of a big chain store.

I first came here because of the affiliation with my doctor and have not regretted it yet! They are very professional and the pharmacist is always willing to answer questions about the medication. It may be because of my insurance, but it is not expensive at all. The same pharmacist is usually dispensing my Rx and seems to be very knowledgeable.
