The first time we went we did not have a reservation but they took us right away. My son has never been good at haircuts and was giving us a little trouble but made it through and looked great. The second time he went he was ready to go, picked his movie and had a great time. We will be repeats with Espy and can’t beat the price.

For $ 20 haircut i dont mind, with a movie going and as long my 3 yr old doesnt whine and cry as a mommy ill be a happy camper… my husband and i have been to get my sons hair cut and the hair stylist thao always does a great job on my sons hair cut. thank you cool cuts!

Vanessa washed, trimmed and braided my daughter’s hair. She was so nice! My daughter and I are happy with her hair and the experience. We’re coming back to see Vanessa for sure.

This is my go to for my daughter’s annual haircut! We’ve only been here twice but each time my daughter enjoys herself and we both leave satisfied with the haircut. The haircut is styled at the end of the cut with a cute flower (for the girls obviously) and they have a lot of entertainment like movies and video games to help the little ones stay still. Took my son for his first haircut, read the reviews below about Vanessa. We asked for her and she was GREAT! We are very pleased and plan on coming back soon. Ask for Vanessa, Especially if it’s their first cut.

I took my son here for the last time last night. We’ve been coming here on and off for the past 3 years. They have done a terrible job cutting his hair before, but this time is the last straw. I showed the stylist the same photo we’ve been referencing for the past year. Instead of trimming his beautiful long hair, she butchered his bangs. I specifically asked her not to cut his bangs blunt, but now it’s too late. Instead of the surfer cut we’ve been doing over the past year, she cut his hair to look like an Oompa Loompa’s.

I took my 13 month daughter today for her first haircut. I really liked it. My daughter did pretty good. It helped that she was watching Sesame Street. I was pleased with the service, I will be returning!

I highly recommend Vanessa she’s the best she goes above and beyond for perfection..

My husband took my son to get a hair cut. The stylist Olga did a very poor job on his bangs. We wanted a shaggy surfer cut with side swept bangs. Instead she cut his bangs straight across and uneven. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because we’ve had good experiences at this place in the past. I think it might just be this particular stylist that didn’t do a great job.

The LO was in need of a haircut. We haven’t cut her hair since she was born. I loved her long hair, but it was a pain to get all the knots out of her hair. I wanted her first haircut to be a special experience. Cool Cuts was a great place for kids. They have a special package for first haircuts, so you can have a keepsake of the cut. There was a bit of a wait, but there’s a play area in the waiting space. The stylist was patient and I like that they have a TV where the LO picked her movie, The Little Mermaid to watch while she got her haircut. After the cut, the stylist even put a small flower in her hair and some glitter too. My LO was happy with her cut and experience. That makes me a happy mom!

Great service, great ladies. Super sweet to my son for his first haircut. She did such a great job too. I would have given a 5 star had the play area been a little better and cleaner. Other than that I’m so happy we went through with the haircut.

My son’s first haircut went super smooth. Monique cut my son’s hair and made it appear too easy. They have videos for children to watch as they get their haircut, video games while they wait, and cute chairs to sit in to entertain the kiddos. The price came out to like $ 20, which is money well spent to have someone cut my son’s hair without issues or a losing an ear in the process.
We went early, around noon, with an appointment. In and out within 20 minutes. Great service.

Really cool place for kids! Video to keep them entertained is a smart idea.
As per my daughter her experience here made feel like a diva.
Moderately priced. Good service. Would have given a 5 star had but she almost forgot to blow dry her hair, had to ask her to do it.

After a horrible experience with my son’s first haircut at one year old at KIDDIE KASTLE (see my review), I was so glad to find this place on my friend’s recommendation. Since my son’s first haircut here with VANESSA, she is the only one I trust with my son’s hair. There is a cute car, fire truck and taxi seat the kids can sit in, or they can sit in mommy’s lap if they’re scared. There are video games as well as a small TV in front of most chairs so the kids can watch a video and stay distracted. The waiting area has a play area. They are usually busy so I highly recommend an appointment. Price is reasonable.
We love Vanessa! The other ladies do a great job too and all are very patient.

Today my one and half year old boy got a haircut here and it was a big success! He just don’t like me touching his hair so I was surprised by the fact that he didn’t even cry once while he was getting a haircut! I really appreciate their business and definitely will be back.

Espie is so calm, patient and quick. My son was having a meltdown even before he hit the chair and I was expecting to be asked to return at a different time. Espie didn’t seem to be phased and spoke to him in a very calm manner. Besides her patience, she did a great job!!! :) We will be back.

(This is more of a management issue) I am giving this place a 4 because yes they are great with kids but what’s up with leaving the clients to go answer the phone? I believe that if I’m paying $ 20 my child should be first priority not the phone. Get a receptionist!
The quality of the haircut is great! My stylist Espie is always nice and fast ! My kids love her!!! Highly recommend her=)

I’ve gone to this place for all my sons haircuts and just got back from there. Worst customer service ever this time! I used to use Espy and she was the best. She no longer works there :(
My husband took my son in to get a haircut but used the wrong coupon. I came in 1 MINUTE after they were done and he told me what happened so I went in to see if I could apply the correct coupon. The stylist that cut my sons hair said the manager could fix the transaction, no problem and apply the $ 5 coupon. So I waited… The manager came after 5 mins and immediately said no, without even trying or even being friendly about it. You think that charging $ 19.95 for a haircut that takes less than 2 minutes, they’d take better pride in their customer service. At least be nice about it or try your best to help out. Now you’ve wasted my time telling me it could be fixed, only to shut me down like I was asking for the most ridiculous request and not even trying.
I’m NOT coming back here! I guess the good thing out of it is that it’ll make me go to the place I’ve thought about going to that charges less than half of what this place charges. I was always willing to pay more bc Espy was great. Never again!
