Went here for the first time yesterday. They were close to my house and a part of my vision insurance. They did an excellent job! The doctor I saw was very thorough, he did more tests regarding my dry eye than any other Doctor ever has. I was very impressed! He was very knowledgable and explained everything to me. Their pricing for the exams weren’t too bad either (62 $) but that was with my insurance. I don’t know about their frame pricing since I wear contacts. Everyone was very kind and quick!
I definitely recommend them. :)

These people are not to be trusted. They take advantage and talk down to you assuming you know nothing and they know everything. I confirmed with a different center that they up sold me big time. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Modern looking store, nice people. The service is great. I chose it because it is close to my house and has great Unilocal reviews. I was a little apprehensive my first visit because this business is in a shopping strip among Korean-​owned businesses and it can be very hard to understand someone who speaks in broken English. The Optometrists and person at the counter speak fluent English, yay! The doctor that checked my eyes was young and hip and took the time to explain my options and answer my questions. They have a good selection of the higher end designer frames. I was able to get a lower cost frame more within my budget; would like to have seen more options in that price range, but then I was looking for a particular style. I have brought my glasses and glasses I did not buy there in for adjustment and they’ve done it without charge every time. I highly recommend Eye Tech!
To answer Allen’s question, I saw the store 1^st because I drive by it all of the time. However I researched a number of optometrists in the area including Unilocal reviews before deciding to try Eye Tech.

I’ve been coming to Eye Tech for a few years now~ I actually worked at an optometry office for few years in the past, so I know a few things and they offer competitive prices (compared to non-​Korean optometry’s). The main reason why I came here was because (1) the doctor always gets my RX correct and I never had an issue with his RX for me. He is quick yet thorough when it comes to giving eye exams and (2) its very close to my house so any adjustments or pick ups are easy.
Now compared to most Korean optometry’s, don’t expect a «super deal» here. This place is more for haggle-​free clients/​patients who want a great prescription and don’t mind paying the sticker price.
It is true that the facility may seem like a «designer snob» (like some other Unilocalers have mentioned), but I myself have never gotten any designer glasses from them and still have received great service. However, the options for inexpensive frames are very limited here. So if you’re looking for a bargain or is on a budget, and the pricetag for Chanel makes you anxious, I would go elsewhere.
Over the years I never minded spending money on my glasses/​contacts, but I have been hearing about awesome deals elsewhere (no exam charge if you get the materials at the same office) and the last time I was there, my brother, my mom, and myself all got services done yet we were charged pretty much the sticker price (our family doesn’t do much haggling), I think I’ll personally be retiring from Eye Tech moving forward, but they’ve been great during the years I’ve been a patient.

These people hooked me right up with a pair of custom tinted glasses that made me look beyond cool with great functionality. I have dealt with several people in the past but David is the person that handled my case this time, l don’t speak Korean but through a little interpretation david told the older gentleman what I wanted. They went back and forth for a few minutes because I needed prescription sun glasses that had to be as tinted as possible because I work outside in the sun all day.
Once david told the older gentleman what I was after he replyed in (Korean) not only can we get the lenses dark tinted but we’ll put a mirror coat on the outside for a further sun barrier! All I have to say is WOW! I’m so very pleased with the end result that I highly recommend this shop to all!
Just know what you want so they can present you with possibilities, and best of all is that they take VSP insurance.

I chose this place because it’s super close to my home & work and they took my insurance. Super easy to get an appointment that suited my schedule. David did a great job getting me the most bang for my buck with what my insurance covered. I got a glasses exam, contacts exam, new lens in my frames and 6 months worth of contacts. Everything was ready in 2 day! The doctor was super nice and friendly. I was seen right on time. The only thing that was slightly awkward was being the only non-​Korean person there :/

This place is AMAZING! My husband doesn’t have eye insurance, everywhere else we called was not very economical, this place charged $ 45 for an exam without insurance! Unheard of! I was a little skeptical about the service he would receive being that the price was so cheap, but that couldn’t have been further from the truth! High tech, very precise, and extremely friendly! Will definitely be returning, and recommending!

I still like this shop but the owner, Peter, has somehow managed to offend some of my referrals. They say he is only interested in helping affluent Asian women who don’t care what they pay. On my last visit, I looked at frames that were quite expensive. For those of you who don’t know, the mark up on lower price frames is higher than high price frames. Mark ups average 60% according to Niel Gailmard, DO, MBA FAAO. That is about 2.6 times the cost of the frame.
When I asked for a 20% discount, they said no. So, the frames were purchased elsewhere at a 33% discount. I’d prefer to spend my money locally, but hey, money is money.
Peter’s son, Allen, and the other staff members are terrific. Their optometrist is excellent. Just don’t expect any bargains or deals. For those, try the Internet!

I have been to many optometrists over the last 10 years but I have found where I belong. Eye Tech has the best selection, top designer glasses and many eye/​sunglasses to choose from. I was very pleased with the nice, friendly, knowledgeable, staff and eye doctors. The Parking kinda sucks but it’s worth the hassle. I also appreciate that they are open late and I can go after work on weekdays. Highly Recommend!

Eye Tech Optometric is the worst. Never stepping foot into this place ever again.
I was a loyal customer here but the last experience I had here was so bad that I will never be back. The prices for glasses and contacts here are really pricey and they kept raising their prices. I had gotten my contacts for a certain price for a while and when they told us they had raised prices once again, we had a few questions. That’s when the owner got incredibly rude. He was so unnecessarily condescending. What terrible customer service towards someone who has been going here for years…

This is by far the best optometrist I’ve ever been to! Everyone is so nice and helpful and they always greet me with a wave and a smile! They always help me out!

Customer service is always on par here. I love the older man working here, he’s so nice and always cleans my glasses for me with the machine. Today he quickly adjusted my boyfriend’s glasses for him because he said it looked a bit off. Now my bf’s glasses no longer slip off his nose! Everyone is great and even costco can’t beat the cost of eye exams here. I’ve been a customer for years and continue to come for my exams and contact lenses. The optometrist is awesome too.
Don’t forget to ask for the sample solution they give with contact lense purchases.

Awesome experience with Eye Tech. I dropped by on my day off to look at eyeglasses. I’m super picky and have been searching for months for frames I could live with (even though they are my back up glasses).
Tons of selection to choose from and the guy who serves the front was wonderfully helpful and patient. He looked around the whole store twice picking out frame options that matched my criteria. Finally I found a pair that I adore after trying on almost two dozen options.
Since I don’t have vision coverage I was relying on my HSA, which had a very limited amount that wasn’t going to cover both lenses and frames anywhere else. The frames were so reasonably priced ($ 115) and he was able to get the 2^nd from top tier lenses ($ 200) and even knocked off a bit to get me right on my budget.
And they were super nice when I came by a bit before they opened on a Saturday so i could grab my new frames before rushing to work. The glasses got me tons of compliments at work and the quality is fantastic.

Very quick and reliable. Broke my glasses in the morning and i needed a replacement NOW. Went in, picked out my frame, and since i had my prescription my new glasses were ready in about 4 hours. i was promised the earliest would be the next day, but they got it done in a few hours.
very professional, knowledge about the eye was clearly recognizable. Next time i need something for my eyes im definitely coming back here!
*they also gave me a free sample of contact lenses just in case i needed them while my glasses were getting prepared!

First Off, I read all the Unilocal Reviews and thought that my experience too will bring me the same offering…
However, I had a different twist of story.
Basically, I know that in fact, glasses are expensive in general.
We are not poor, but glasses are expensive so I was calling around places and… So, I called and spoke with two of the assistants from this optometry and was told that there would be a $ 100 package for a $ 20 dollar fee for the eye exam, $ 40 for the lenses and $ 40 for frames. So we thought, wow that’s just an awesome deal, I knew that the glasses won’t be name brand, but it’s still a good deal nonetheless.
Well, when we got there… they were showing us all the glasses in the store, although we thought it was weird that the quality of glasses were really expensive, we thought oh those glasses are the deals that they were speaking about because we came in and told them we had an appointment with them… shortly after, we were called in for the eye exam.
Then after we came out to pick glasses that they were initially showing us which were all the high priced, which of course were fancy, but those glasses were not the package they were speaking about initially. Each glasses ranged from $ 200 to even $ 500+. Which is a given off course.
So, we asked if these glasses were the same glasses that they’ll be offering in the package… and their faces turned and frowned upon us. and went to just a small cabinet with the glasses that fit the package.
So after we picked through the glasses that matched the package of $ 100 deal, The assistant told us that since the lens we’ll have to get is a bifocal/​progressive, we will be charged an additional $ 40−200+ just for the lens itself.
Basically, I understand that they have to sell the items to make profit for the company as well as to make money as employees. However, I do not see the point where they should «LIE» to the customer in the beginning of a visit by suggesting that they’ll offer a great deal of $ 100. I believe they should have been much more professional, by stating that although the package can be $ 100, it can be much more expensive if we add certain products and etc.
So in the end, even though we got a descent deal of paying approximately $ 140~ for the entire visit, I really dis-​liked this place bc people that deceive you, only to bring you in and then in the end they’ll keep lying and say that they never said that they’ll be giving a $ 100 package deal. The assistant actually suggested that it was for a «STUDENT PACKAGE» when I spoke with him stating that this visit was for my «PARENTS.»
Please DO NOT be deceived by all these Kind Comments that these people have provided.
TIP: If you want to go to this Optometry then I suggest that you only get the Eye Exam with the Optometrist ($ 50 fee for visit itself).
