Funnel Cakes

You know those delicious goodies that you crave and just can’t have enough of no matter how many times you enjoy the scrumptiousness of a sugary treat well the Funnel Cakes @ Knott’s are one of those you can never get enough of!
For as long as I can remember we’ve always gotten the funnel cakes here and they’ve always been super delicious to the point of which you probably won’t want to share them with your friends but the down side to that is that the grease concurs all and you could be not feeling so great afterward so make sure you give in and share with your friends!
They offer a few different selections of toppings to go with the powdered sugar but I would only recommend getting the boysenberry because it’s the best and your at Knott’s the home of the delicious boysenberry that you won’t find anywhere else! So do yourself a favor and don’t be one of those strawberry people just get the boysenberry and you can thank me later for persuading you to get what’s good!
Don’t get me wrong I love strawberry but at Knott’s it’s boysenberry everything!
They have a few different locations to grab some of the funnel goodness the main location is right next to Timber Mountain Log Ride and Boardwalk Ball room the second is closer to the front of the park close to The Bottle House.
Seriously though when you visit Knott’s get a funnel cake they are super delicious with just the boysenberry and powdered sugar but if your feeling like more of a sweet thing you can add ice cream to your already piled high mountain of sugar to make it that much better in a cold creamy kinda way!

Delicious and very affordable! Love that we can customize the toppings and get one for every member of the family. Excellent customer service and patience while we were choosing our order.

I love amusement park funnel cakes. Knotts offers theirs plain, but I get it fully loaded. Adding the soft serve and strawberries are where it’s at.
The funnel cake is ~12 bucks, but 12 bucks well worth it. Eat it while it’s fresh and crunchy!

Some days I like them plain, some days I like to go all out. I normally buy my funnel cake and get in line for the log ride. I make sure everyone sees me eat it so they want one too. Bwahahaha. The kids get all messy with the toppings, but hey, what are we here for? To eat and have a good time.

Quality has gone way down. The funnel cakes are thin, crispy & huge! They should be soft, doughy & thicker threads. My tradition of having one when I come here may be coming to an end :(. We’ll see maybe I’ll give it one more shot.

Funnel cake with the powdered sugar with some ice cream on top! MmmmM!
I try to stay away from putting too much of the strawberry topping on it because it gets too sweet! Ask for a half portion and you’re golden!
I also ask them to make the funnel cake slightly crispy. That texture is to die for!
The only knock on this place is that they close too early!
But then again, if they were open until late, I would have some major health issues by now.

You have to get a funnel cake if you are at Knott’s. That’s a given!
Get the funnel cake with everything (ice cream, powdered sugar, and strawberry topping!). It’s only about a dollar difference compared to just getting one topping :)

I ALWAYS have to get a funnel cake when I go to Knott’s! It’s always fresh and makes for a delicious snack or dessert. You have the option of topping your funnel cake with powdered sugar, powdered sugar + fruit topping or powdered sugar + fruit + ice cream!
I personally like my funnel cake with just powdered sugar, because the fruit topping can make it become really soggy and hard to eat. You’ll probably get the powdered sugar all over yourself, but it’s definitely worth the mess! It’s so delicious and makes the your experience at Knott’s so much better!

The OC Fair Funnel Cake was way, way better! This place puts way too much syrup than strawberries on the cake. Not enough powder sugar. Costed $ 3 more than the fair too!

Funnel cakes here are just so yummy! Crunchy on the outside & so warm & soft on the inside =)
Best to share with a friend since they’re so huge. ;)
I love it just with white powdered sugar & nothing else. I find that the other toppings: strawberries, etc just makes it too heavy.
Great for an energy pick up when you need it.
Lines can get long here, so go when there’s no crowds. =)

These funnel cakes are huge and delicious you are better off sharing it with a couple people you get the option to add icecream with strawberries or just powdered suger and chase it down with a cold cola drink get ready for a sugar high.
