Thoroughly disappointed. Memorial Day we went to buy a new Kenmore elite washer and dryer. We had a Kenmore set that lasted 20 years. We had the set delivered and set up. My wife said she smelled gas and we had the gas co. Check and the found gas coming from the dryer itself. So begins the trouble. We couldn’t get anyone to talk to us. We also got a runaround and no call backs. Finally, they said they’d switch dryers, 4 days later. Being upset that we were sold a product that could have killed us. Plus the inconvenience and the money we spent, 3k. I felt that we should at least be compensated with a warranty. They said no. I will be returning the set. There was a time when Sears was great and they stood by they’re products. This is no longer the case. Now I know why they’re losing business. They’ve lost another customer!

This place has good clearance and with a friend and family clearance an associate mentioned about giving discount to customers that don’t know anyone working for sears this is great

I like Sears’ cloths and tools but that’s it. This store is always disheveled and the clerks are the slowest cashiers this side of Phoenix. They take an average of 4.5 minutes to handle one transaction(I timed three of them at one kiosk). Some of it is the clerks’ fault but most of it is Sears. When checking out cloths they have to remove the hangers and refold all the cloths after locating the hanger tag which could be on the sleeve, neck or front button. If I were Sears I’d mandate that the tags are all in one place. Then they ask you if you have a Sears card. If you don’t they want to sign you up for one. If you do, they want to know if you want to use your points. If you do then they have to look up your PIN number. It goes on and on for a good two minutes. This particular Sears is dead. No one here except for the checkout lanes because of the bottleneck Sears has created for itself.

Very helpful staff. The guy that helped me decide on a treadmill spent more time with me than anywhere else I had been. He was also the most knowledgeable.

Christmas gifts ordered online Dec. 22 for store pick up, according to web site usually will receive an email ready for pick up at store within 2 hrs. On Dec.24 called sears customer service that I had not received email and was told order was ready, called store they said they had no record of order, went around and around and back and fourth with no one able to resolve my problem. At store end felt like they could really care less that I was left without any gifts for my family, at least at website they tried to assist but unable to resolve. Manager at store basically said, we are sold out of almost everything anyways, but you could come in and try and find what you ordered. Very frustrated and upset. Learn from me, don’t trust what they tell you or trust them to be on time.

I really hate Sears but I was desperately on the hunt for some new rainboots the other day and was surprised to see that they have a pretty large collection of cute shoes! I found what I was looking for, was helped by a friendly cashier, and left happy. 3 stars for Sears!

Sears used to have a small business feel to it, but in todays cutthroat society you guys are right up there doing business with the worst of them. Your concern only goes as deep as your own pockets and customer satisfaction has dissapeared forever. I purchased a $ 900 Toshiba 55′ LCD from you in March and have had to request repair for it twice, the first time being the same day I took it out of the box. I call and am given one answer; No exchange, you don’t care about the reason or the fact that your company is at fault. As long as there is a clause in place to avoid blame(because of time elapsed) you guys have your hands wiped clear. For the record; As a loyal Sears customer for almost two decades, I will never do business with Sears again.

We came here after dinner to find a tool that my bf needed for work. We only visited the tool section, so I can’t attest to the other areas of the store. When I’m in California, I never really shop at Sears unless my bf needs some tool. When I’m in Hawaii, we always find ourselves in Sears looking for shirts for gifts. This Sears was clean and well organized. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the correct tool and we quickly left.

If there was an option to give negative stars, i would do that. My first run in with Sears was about 18 months ago when I was 9 months pregnant and days away from giving birth. I had received a pack N play as a gift and found out it was recalled. I attempted to return it and had the gift receipt. They WOULDNOT give me money back but instead offered store credit that would be good at that location only. Their selection of pack n plays consisted of 2. One that was blue plaid and the other all green. I was having a girl and everything in my décor was pink and brown. I told the associate that I was on a time limit since I was giving birth in 4 days. She couldn’t care less. As did the manager. It took me literally screaming to get my money so I could go to Target and get a pack n play. Not only did the customer service suck, but it was first thing in the morning, and the isles were filled with merchandise that was thrown all over the floor. I REFUSED to compromise my safety as well as the safety of my unborn baby to look for something else in this cluttered section of sears. Not to mention that the AC was broken and it was about 85 degrees downstairs. My second go around was today. Sears proudly advertises that they have a price match guarantee. There was an E-Z up advertised with Big 5 for $ 79.99 with a $ 10.00 off coupon. I went to Sears wanting them to match it. The first associate that I can across couldn’t even find it on the website. I had to get it and then she asked me how I did it. Um, I typed in the item. Seriously stupid. Then she had to ask another associate, who in turn had to ask another, who then had to call a manager. The end result was I had to call corporate to get my answer. I called corporate, who transferred me to 3 different people only to get connected to someone of whom I couldn’t understand. I got frustrated and hung up. I called back and went through 4 managers of managers only to find out that if it isn’t a «Sears Item» then they don’t match it. REALLY??? If it’s on your website, it should be considered a «Sears Item» I HATE Sears, and I am so thankful that KMart accepts Sears cards, or there would be NOWAY I would be keeping that credit card.

Been here off and on I’d say the last ten plus years or so. Stopped in briefly tonight for the first time in probably over 4 – 5 years or so. Entered in through the hardware/tools department to have a long-held gift card be verified for it’s balance. The associate was able to assist with that… only to then be told«Sir…its a few minutes to 8pm.» As if I was supposed to pick up what he was putting down. He was attempting to demonstrate that the store was closing in three minutes after I asked where the Men’s section was. Nice way to «welcome» customers to a huge national chain of stores you work for. Within seconds I was over in Men’s…only to have the lights suddenly be turned off, followed by an annoying young woman’s voice coming over the store’s speaker system, announcing that the store was in fact closed. Good, because what I had picked up to potentially purchase there in Men’s… was SEVERELY over-priced. It was a dress shirt ‘n tie combo where I’ve purchased them prior for $ 20…only to find that Sears was flat charging $ 48. I went out to exit through the mall and I’ll write my separate review for that, under Buena Park Downtown. To say the least… security used as much tact as Sears did. What large chain store closes at 8pm on a Saturday night?

Oh Sears… what is there to say? I always get mixed service at this location. Some employees are very helpful and friendly. Others are just kind of… apathetic. Sometimes rude. But the store does have a lot of departments. Clothing, shoes, tools, appliances, home décor, electronics, jewelry, mattresses… so much stuff. I’ve come to realize that there actually is cute clothing at Sears! And the men’s department is rather large. I’d say about the same size as women’s. That doesn’t happen much these days. Lots of styles. Dressy, casual, old fogey stuff, younger stuff, formal wear… Sales can be REALLY good, especially during holiday weekends or Friends & Family Nights. I got a top that was originally about $ 38 for $ 4 for the Labor Day sale! The shoe department always has an extremely messy clearance section, but other than that, the store is generally neat. You’ll probably find a lot of things you don’t like about this store, but you’ll also find a lot of things that you DO like.
