So this place is overpriced, I work nearby. The areas pretty industrial. The village is a quick place to grab a snack or lunch. The owners are an older Asian couple who could use better customer training. The husband can be snarky. Once I called 5 mins before they stopped serving breakfast for a phone order. The wife took my order, but I hear the husband in the background telling her that breakfast is over. She did ignored him & took my order anyway. I called in a phone order for a breakfast bagel, went to pick up my order, inside is a breakfast burrito. I went back to inform this couple this was not what I ordered. They both stared at me, insisted that’s what I ordered… I wouldn’t leave so they made the bagel but charged me additional money for it! Then on top of that, the wife tells me to say the numbers of the menu items rather than the item name because her English is dreadful!!! Foh! I’ve gotten coffee here a few times. The creamer, which should be refrigerated has been spolied, more than one occasion people! The last straw was when I ordered hot chocolate & the milk they used to make it was spoiled. I didn’t realize this until I was back at my office. Didn’t bother going back, these people are cheap and assume is your fault for mishaps not them. They need to leave & get some people that are clean, can speak clear English & are customer service oriented.

had the well-being bowl(bibimbap) cuz i accidentally left my packed lunch :(they don’t put it in a bowl anymore(like in the picture) but in a styrofoam box. Some parts of the meat were a bit tough. Overall 4 stars

This place has new owners and they seem to be really nice. The old owners were really nice too but the wife was really intimidating at times lol but nice once you got to know her. People always say stay away from their seafood but I LOVE the salmon there. They also make really good sandwiches. My only complaint is that the don’t sell Red Bull. I would have to agree with the other reviews, if it weren’t for working in an office near by I wouldn’t be going there.

Great breakfast food — breakfast burrito and the Village croissant is excellent. The café is kind of hidden in a business plaza but the food is cheap and tasty. I highly recommend trying both the burrito and the Village croissant. They have good coffee too, which is a plus. Less skimping and better food with the new owners.

Okay so pretty much the only reason to come here is if you work in one of the buildings next to it. I am greatful for it for times when I forget my lunch or am too lazy to pack it, but its nothing special. Their chicken teriyaki is pretty good. Soup is watery if thats your thing go for that but I don’t like it. The woman at front is kind of intimidating at first but turns out she is a nice person(i have forgot money before for coffee and she has given me coffee trusting that i would come back and pay her when i had only been there once before) so that was super awesome and really sweet. Words of warning eat seafood there at your own risk as a coworker told me she got food poisoining from it before. The muffins are really good and they have different kinds. Also coworkers have raved that the wraps are good i have yet to try it. Sandwiches were just whatever to me i could make that at home. So yeah eat here if u work here but do not go out of your way to come here because thats ghetto

Another 3 stars for this place. When there for the first time the other day for lunch. Had the turkey and cheese sandwhich — it was OK. Still prefer the Bread Basket on Orangthorpe. The food was fresh and the line and the wait inside went by very quickly. Couldn’t decide if the lady at the register was rude or if she was just rushing. Maybe I will take Michelles advice and head over that way for breakfast one day. Heck… maybe I will even see her over there. If you want a break from the norm — definitly check this place out. If you do — please report back as to what you ordered and how it was. Enjoy!

This place is a few doors down from my work… so I go here often. Lunch is not the best, but they have a really good breakfast croissant and burrito. They make really good bacon! I like a bagel for breakfast, so when I don’t have time to grab one at home, I’ll get one here. You HAVE to ask for extra cream cheese, otherwise there’ll be close to none on there. But sometimes they do go overboard with it… it’s better to have to scrape some off though than have to eat your bagel practically dry… I love their hot chocolate-they make it the same as Coffee Bean. They also have fresh watermelon when it’s in season and it’s all cut up and delish!
