I have been a customer at this Wal-Mart vision center for years. Although I receive good customer service from the staff, I’m rating it a two because the quality of the frames is horrible. Yes, they provide a 1 year warranty which is great, unless your frames break the month after the warranty expires! This has happened not only once, but THREE times! Today my 3rd pair of frames broke the month after the warranty was up. So disappointed. Not sure if I will be going back there for my new pair. I only get coverage of frames every two years, so this year I will have to pay out of pocket for new frames.

Walked up on a Saturday afternoon without an appointment. I had already had my vision tested at another optometrist but I just needed a pair of back up glasses for those no contact lens days. I found a cute pair of blue«emo nerd» frames for $ 18.00! They also offered brand names like Oleg Cassini, Apple Bottoms, Cosmopolitan(like the magazine), l.e.i. and more. I have a VERY high Rx and I was able to get frames and lenses for $ 78.00 out the door. I didn’t add the no glare coating but that was only $ 50. The clerk Arturo was very nice and the glasses come with a 60 day satisfaction guarantee and a 12 month warranty against breakage. If I think the polycarbonite lenses are too thick I can upgrade to the high index and only pay the difference of the upgrade rather than having to purchase a new set of lenses. I should be able to pick them up Friday; they aren’t done in an hour but they’re hella cheaper than Lens Crafters.
