Performance Tours Rafting

We had a great trip! My husband and I did the ½ day river rafting last year with a different company. We wanted to bring our boys and I read great reviews on trip advisor. The prices were very affordable and they gave us a military discount! Thank you! Our guide Jeremy was excellent and our boys really enjoyed the trip! Thank you!

We rode with MB at the Breckenridge location and rode a full day with Benny D. The water in both places is high and fast, and both guides were amazing. Benny made sure our full day was double diamond – hitting the currents in the best places, cutting the greatest lines – all while keeping us in the boat! Performance experiences were outstanding, professional, and expert!

Used the Unilocal deal on a whitewater rafting trip with family. We had a great trip. They offered reasonably priced accessories (splash jackets, booties, etc) for the less prepared before the trip. The rafting was excellent. Our guide was a bit inexperienced, but otherwise excellent. The trip to the launch was reasonable, the rafting itself was fantastic, and the trip back was reasonable as well, despite the weather. All in all, a well run business.
It is, however, somewhat difficult to find. Pay attention to your GPS.

I did 3 trips with PT. Two in Royal Gorge and one Buena Vista. Always fun, big adrenaline. Great guides, ready to help, willing to answer any question.
On my 2^nd trip Royal Gorge crew didn t get my reservation, it was Sunday. I came 9:30 with 4 people. 30 minutes after I was in bus already, ready to go, raft was waiting. They are pros!!! Will do again with PT for sure!!!

Awesome trip… our guide, Chris was great. The wetsuits and splash jackets were provided. The water was high and fast. Plenty of class IIIs. A good trip for beginners to intermediates. Would definitely book again… Class IVs next time.

This was B’s first rafting trip and my maybe 15^th trip. Starting off the weather was great and sunny. We had signed up to do the numbers/​narrows full day trip, but due to high water we were switched to Brown’s Canyon. We had heard many good things about this run too, especially at high water, so we were pumped. We checked in and were introduced to our guide, Avery. They had changing rooms to get into our wetsuits, splash jackets and booties. Once outfitted, we hopped on the bus for a short drive over to the drop off.
Once on the water, the weather loomed. We ended up running into rain, hail, thunder and lightning. It made for a very very chilly ride. Avery was a pro though and made me feel as comfortable as one can be while freezing and in possibly going to flip in the river.
Had lunch halfway down so that you could prepare your own sandwiches… delicious!
I would definitely recommend this company for your next rafting trip!
One thing I would change it to have hot showers in the changing rooms to warm up/​rinse off for after :]

Awesome full day trip through Brown’s Canyon with Avery. Everything was provided for us and exceeded our expectations. Excellent value compared to the posted rates of other operators. Would definitely take another tour and recommend them highly.

As the first timers with a 7-​year old and a special needs child, we all had a blast! Rafting was the highlight of our summer vacation! Our guide was awesome! Totally knew his stuff; made us feel safe. We are absolutely doing this again with Performance Tours!

These guys ensure that you have an amazing time. I went with a group of associates, there were 10 of us and I must say I really enjoyed myself. I will definitely be back for another white water tour.

I had a fantastic trip with Performance Tours. My brother and I did a full day Browns Canyon trip and really loved it.
The trip was relatively easy, but never felt like we were just sitting there. The guide did an excellent job of asking for proper amount of work, while navigating the river in a fashion that gave us plenty of excitement and opportunities to appreciate the spectacle.
At one point, I did fall off the raft and it was here where Performance really impressed me. The guides on all the rafts in our party immediately sprung into action to help get me safely out of the river. The guides worked together and with me to get me onto a raft as quickly as possible. My helmet and life jacket worked to keep safe. One of the guides was a medic and made sure that I was ok. It was exactly the response I would have hoped for.
I would absolutely use Performance Tours again if I decide to take another rafting trip.

This was our families first rafting trip and it was great! We did a full day down Browns Canyon and Dan guided us down the river.
The meal we were served was great. A wide variety of meat, cheese, fruit and vegetables and plenty of it. The trip down the river was easy and our 9 year old did great.
It was easy to find if you use the directions from their website and the trip to and from the river was nice and smooth.

Our family of 6 had a great time. Big Al was our guide and was very in tune with our 8 year old and our 15 year old (with mild CP) in making sure they were having a great time and safe. Even though it’s summer the Arkansas moved just right for us as complete neophytes. My wife even got thrown out of the boat when our boat hit a rock but no worries, we got her out immediately.
All the guides seemed great and the pictures the independent contractor photographer got for our family are superb! Excellent work. We bought the entire CD no questions asked.

These guys are the very best! From answering all our questions (and we had quite a few) to the actual rafting trip. TOP NOTCH all the way. We had a large group (19 people of all ages) and they found a trip that we could all do at the same time. some did the «calm and scenic class 1 and some did the Brown’s Canyon Class III. We had three different guides-​Blake, Hailey and Drew. All extremely knowledgeable. Hailey was super friendly and don’t be fooled by her size. she is tough as nails and very protective of all of us. They put safety first and that is why I picked them over some others. Shout out to Ellen too, who helped set up the entire trip with five different families all paying separately.

We did a whitewater raft trip in 2008 and 2011 with Performance tours. Both trips were well done and worth the money. Always felt safe even thou danger was all around. Would recommend

Very professional all the way through from phone service, to check-​in, gear up, river guide, drivers, and return.
Did a half-​day brown’s canyon rafting. A little low but a fun outing on the water. Was fine with just booties but can see how more neoprene would be useful on higher flow days

I’ve done 2 trips w/​these folks and will go back for the Numbers (cancelled cuz waters were dangerous high), and I like their professionalism. Of our two boats for the all day Browns trip, the raft guide on the other boat called it quits for one elderly couple (70s? we were going thru some class IV rapids today with the über high water levels) and ended their trip about ¾ thru. The gent was having a hard time, and his wife admitted afterwards that he was having a hard time breathing. I appreciate the other guide took it upon himself to really watch out for his crew and ensure the safety of everyone. Our guide said the company owner’s gives them the leeway to make those kind of calls, which I give them credit for (and obviously noone wants a terrible accident or lawsuit on their hands…)
Don’t get all macho about the whole should-​I-​rent-​a-​wetsuit… all the guides are wearing them. you’ll want to keep warm… it’s only a few more bucks for a wetsuit, you can decide on the booties yourself.
