This place is beyond exceptional from their customer service to food to frozen yogurt. They have even GF options and Vegan which is a plus and sometimes hard to find. They have great customer service and atmosphere.

Couldn’t resist this place based on the other reviews — and it didn’t disappoint! For the artisan breads — to the bistro style salads, soups, sandwiches and pastas! I read the homemade mac and cheese was fabulous so I had my nine year old Mac-connoisseur check it out and it received rave reviews. I can’t say enough about it except that we drove 10 minutes out of our way to try it when passing through town and we would do it again!

Best stop we made in Buena Vista! Customer service is incredible and the food was far beyond the quality we expected for our quick lunch stop! We had great angus burgers and soup, and then strolled through Trailhead outdoor equipment store with our frozen yogurt! We’ll be stopping there again on our way back through town in a few days!

Very creative menu. The bison ravioli is absolutely amazing. I’d go back anytime for that. Some of the food was a bit bland, and the chicken in the ban-mi sandwich was dry, but the flavor was still good. Overall we enjoyed it and we plan to go back.

I’m so glad my friends showed me this awesome gem of a place in Buena Vista. It shares a location with the Trailhead gear store. The food tastes great and the presentation is well thought out. Don’t treat it like a fast food restaurant, this is a place to sit down and enjoy your food. We were also offered samples of their fresh baked pretzel bread and caramel frozen yogurt. Both are to die for! I ordered the Thai Basil & Chicken Noodle and Green Chile and Corn Chowder. The noodles are rice noodles with a pesto based sauce, which I think is very creative because pesto doesn’t have to go to pasta. It was a perfect light and filling option. The soup was their soup of the day and had the perfect amount of creaminess. Love this place! Will stop by again!

So friendly, delicious and well worth the visit. Probably need a sixth star for samples of their frozen yogurt delivered to the table… We’ll be going back for more, that’s for sure. Excellent food, service and priced reasonably — especially for what you get to eat.

Service– Above and beyond: smart, smiles, sincere, inviting, helpful Food– Fantastic: even if you don’t geek out on the quality and freshness, you’ll love the taste and presentation Atmosphere– Relaxing, clean, beautiful, cozy, Colorado Prices– Very fair for what you get(three people ate lunch and one had leftovers: $ 45 plus tip) A few notes: — We had lunch, and we’re returning for dinner this weekend. — We ate salads, wild boar sausage, buffalo ravioli, minestrone, pretzel plate, and coffee. — They introduced themselves by name, stopped by our table several times to check on us. Even brought by a free sample of frozen yogurt afterwards as a special treat because the room was slow for a moment. — Can’t think of a reason someone wouldn’t love this restaurant.

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! Overheard from the table next to us: «I don’t Unilocal but I’m going to Unilocal this place!» The décor is awesome, minimal and modern. Its hard to decide if the food or the service is the bigger star here. I had a chicken Brie panini with an amazing medley of flavored and a perfect crisp on the homemade bread. I paired with a side of fresh fruit that came out looking so pretty! Berries and sliced pears with a dollop of yogurt. My husband and one kiddo had the homemade mac n cheese and licked their bowls clean! My husband also had the broccoli cheese soup — again, so good! Spaghetti for the other kiddo along with craft root beers for both. We had an extremely minimal wait but one of the two guys running the place brought out a chunk of homemade monkey bread to hold us over. These guys have service down to a T! They make you want to hang out all night. And last, but certainly not least, frozen yogurt bar! Think Orange Leaf but organic and way more tasty! So many yummy toppings as well. We bought a half loaf of monkey bread and a slice of white chocolate raspberry bread for breakfast on the road the next day. So. Darn. Good!

Opened April 2015. I’m a huge fan. The bread was so good on my panini that I even ate the crust(not normal) and got more to go before I left. I forced myself to get half a panini and a salad because salad is healthy… I figured the salad would be meh. How pleasantly surprised I was. One of the best salads I’ve ever had(it was the seasonal salad with arugula, pears, oranges, pine nuts, goat cheese, and a light citrus dressing). Delicious Meyer lemonade with fresh berries. Bravo! I shopped in the cute store in the same space as the restaurant while I waited for my food. It has all kinds of Colorado items of cuteness. Love.

We came here looking for frozen yogurt and were pleasantly surprised to find a full menu of healthy food. The hostess and the owner were both extremely friendly, authentic, warm, welcoming and accommodating. If you are a healthy eater, someone on a diet(or not), or just want some good tasty food, I highly recommend this place for a «simple eatery».

Love this spot. Delicious food. the people who work there are very friendly and helpful. THe restaurant shares a building space with the Trailhead — a cool little mountain gear shop. Great idea. Great restaurant.

I don’t think this place was open last year, but we just loved it! They’ve converted an enormous, very old warehouse-type building into two autonomous businesses – a clothing shop and diner.(I got half price on a great Kavu daypack.) The shop closed as we were ordering dinner(they put up a huge fence around all the merchandise). The owners of Simple Eatery are very friendly and the atmosphere is fun. My friend and I ordered the Brie & chicken panini with the(seasonal) Jicama cilantro salad — both were delicious! The portions may be small for men but the it was nice how the price was modest. A very nice touch was seeing a carafe of cucumber water already on the table when we sat down. One small thing: I’m not crazy about the restaurant’s name — it’s too much to say and difficult to remember. Nevertheless, I can’t wait to go back next year.

Awesome food, friendly people and an overall great experience! The folks in the kitchen really know what they’re doing. Homemade, fresh ingredients make his place very special. Absolutely worth dropping in for one of their soups, pastas or loafs of bread.

Best fresh food in town. Good selection of beers. And great hot-from-the-oven homemade breads. As Granny would say, «What’s not to like?»
