I figured I’d give this little place a shot after work one night after reading several reviews of it on Unilocal.First thing I noticed was there was no seating in this little place, strictly takeout or catering. I decided to order the Tortellini Calabrese with a side of two meatballs. This plate was delicious! Tortellini with sausage, mushrooms, and some sun dried tomatoes. The portion was huge and the meatballs were delicious as well! I also ordered an extra garlic knot, which I liked. I took a menu home with me, which is pretty extensive. Needless to say, I will definitely be coming back here!

The sandwiches are easily the best thing Andiamo has. While I normally shy away from any sauce that is only described as «special» or «secret», the special sauce they use on their subs, especially my favorite, the sinful chicken sub, is a great compliment to what is always moist and flavorful chicken. Their meatball and chicken parm subs are both good but about run-of-the-mill. As for the pasta, they certainly give you whopping portion sizes. They pile on the sauce so if you’re getting any sort of cream-based sauce, be wary. I’d prefer more mixing and matching options between pastas and sauces but otherwise their sauces are above average. Overall — a great, easy takeout place whose special sauce is indeed special, in a good way.

You must try the Tortellini Calabrese and Chicken Finger Pizza(BBQ sauce and Ranch style), Bistro Salad and their Homemade rolls! Never had a bad meal! Our family loves Andiamo. The owner Keith has the love and passion for people and food!

Have tried the Philly Steak, pizza, lasagna, raviloi, penne pasta, veal parmigana and egg plant parmagana and have NOT been disappointed yet. Everything fresh, hot and delicious. Welcome to the neighborhood to Keith and his accomodating staff

Ordered the lasagna for lunch since I work near here. Decent portion size and I really liked the sauce. Will definitely order again if I’m craving it for lunch. Will have to try some of their other stuff too.

I reallly had a hankering for some good chicken Parm, but didn’t want to go to the same-ol’ Pizzaria we usually go to. My beloved suggested checking out Salvatore’s Takeout Bistro on West Klein and so we went. First thing to NOTE: A new owner(Keith) purchased this business in October 2014 and is in the process of changing the name, menu, etc. With no expectations we walked in, and were greeted by two super-awesomely-friendly guys(Keith Wilson, owner, was one). They helped us choose our lunch, brought out two yummy garlicy-buttery-deliciousness«knots» while we waited, and split a «Bruschetta Pizza slice» for us to enjoy also while the dishes were prepared. I’ve had«garlic knots» in NYC, Buffalo and all over… these were sooooooo good! PIZZA shouldn’t be allowed to TASTETHISAMAZING! The dough was just the right thickness to be held in one hand with a slight fold, not too thin that it falls apart like some others. And the taste was *incredible*, with a drizzle of balsamic around the outer crust that topped off the flavor profile. To-go we ordered some Arancini(they look like«meatballs» but it’s actually fried/breaded *rice* balls in meat sauce. NOMS!), and our«main» dish which was a special called«Sinful Chicken Rigatonni». Rich flavorful sauce, home-made pasta, perfectly grilled chicken was plentiful! AND… to my surprise, even my 11YO daughter LOVED it when she tried it after school, which surprised me because it had a good amount of «zing» to it. guess it was just the right amount, or balanced by the light cream in the sauce? Before packing up the«Sinful Chicken Rigatonni», Keith brought it out so we could try it fresh and hot, like a proud chef! And proud he should be. The prices are not low — but this is more like eating an amazing Italian home-cooked dish than a generic thrown together preparation you might find elsewhere. Well worth the extra few $$ IMO. Take a bow, Keith! Can’t wait to return… :-)
