I get the shrimp thai salad every time i go. I look foward to it. Only complaint is that they have murals of kids from my school on the wall haha.

How this place stays in business is beyond me. If u want pre made heated up food this is the place to go. Still wonder how I place an order and have my food within 2 minutes, microwaves hard at work here

Try not to go on their special nights if u don’t want to be distracted by a HORRIBLEDJ who keeps bothering people trying to have dinner and fellowship by asking who wants to do karaōke. This place thinks they are a bar but reality it’s a restaurant and needs to stop acting like a night life bar

Never have any problems. Good food, great beers, great staff! Always have a good time at applebees. I have never had a bad waitress or bad food.

It’s very good for what it is. Don’t come here expecting something fancy or to get the best tasting food possible. They serve good tasting food and have nice servers for not very much money. I ordered the Chicken bacon avacado half sandwich and a chicken Caesar salad the last time I was there. I went with my mother for lunch and we ordered take out for my dad. The bill with 20% tip was less than $ 40 for 3 meals. Can’t beat that. Order the mango lemonade — I did and it was so delicious I almost gave them an extra star.

The churro Smores were sooooo good. The waitress was super friendly too. Everyone was in a good mood despite it being crazy busy. Will be back again.

I didn’t even want to give this place a one star but I guess I have to. Worst service ever because we were not purchasing entrées. I was polite enough to tell the waitress that we were just ordering desserts and that’s when the entire experience went to hell. Let’s just say Terri. M was rude and condescending and treated me and my friends poorly even though she would’ve definitely gotten a good tip had she truly given good service. Beware. I have already spoken to management about this and they were amazing and kind but it really does not change the imprint of what the experience left.

We used to go to this place on the regular but have waned because of a terrible experience. My son and I went to lunch to meet 2 friends and arrived early on a Wednesday a little before noon. The dining area was empty with a few casual diners at the bar. We checked in with the hostess and we’re told we would have to wait to be seated until the other members of our party arrived. Not a problem. 2 minutes later an elderly woman came in and was waiting on her husband to meet her for lunch. She was escorted to a table. I was perplexed. I asked the hostess why she was sat and we weren’t? She said that the elderly woman was sat because she was a regular and we weren’t sat because 2/3’s of our party wasn’t there. Hmmmmmm… makes you think. The other two members of our party final came in and we were sat. We told our guests what had happened and called over the manager, a heavy set man with glasses and dark hair(I forget his name), explained the situation and he told us that it was policy regardless if there’s an empty restaurant or not that 2/3’s of the party need to be present to be sat. Again, I’m fine with this. Then he said but if I knew you were with«so and so», one of our guests that is a regular, he said we would have had no problem in seating you… got to love it people. And this is why I have not been back.

I like Apples, and I love bees, but I can’t stand Applebees. I wish they would go and eat good in someone else’s neighborhood. But these days it seems they are everywhere. I came here in 2009 because the people I was staying with and/or friends with in the area when I played a concert here, insisted on coming here. I think they had a coupon for it, or it was because there was some sort of special deal. Applebee’s is probably my least favourite place to eat in the world. It epitomizes everything I despise about American chain brand name culture. The food has made me sick almost every time I’ve been there, this location included. The prices are supposedly great for families — of course they are great when all the food is pre-packaged and frozen and toilet standard. And the fact that it is just so insanely popular with kids and families everywhere, as well as all the cool kids and young adults of the new generation, is the most depressing aspect. It’s all in the advertising, the branding. And these chains, that’s the one thing they know how to do well. Sob. Sob. I should mention, I only rate national and global chains on a scale of 1 – 2. I rate family businesses on a scale of 3 – 5. Here is why: Would you rather support the local family, or the multi national corporations and the rich men on yachts in the Carribbean? Why are the parking lots of the awesome local places usually half empty(or completely empty)? Why are the chains always so busy? Why can they afford to open so late and get all the TV advertising and all the prime intersection locations? Why are they always in shopping malls? Why go and support Denny’s, Chilli’s, TGIF, Olive Garden, or the horrendous Applebees? These places have systematically and coldly taken over the national food scene by using the cheapest ingredients, pre-packaged frozen systematic meals that are identical across the nation, overly high prices, rude underpaid servers on way less than minimum wage, and a ridiculously expensive mass brand advertising campaign that gets inside the heads of all the kids and the 20somethings and keeps them under the illusion that if it’s not a brand name, it’s not worth visiting. They spend all the money they should be investing in food and service, in advertising and cornering the market — the local places can’t compete — and someday all we will be left with is the same chains serving the same food all over the world. That is our future. It’s the way we’re heading and you know it. Every time you eat at a bland national chain, you buy into that, you support that. Boycott chains. Support your local eateries. It’s an embarrassment that generic brand national chains are even listed on a proper foodie website like Unilocal, let alone getting 4 and 5 stars from so called foodies. Wake up, America, before we’re all just batteries in the matrix.

Nice place! Food was excellent ! Btw– its on Milestrip rd in Blasdell… I mentioned to the waitress that my steak was a little too done, she sent the manager over(even though I said it was fine) and he apologized and said he would be sending over a free dessert! It was the lava cake with ice cream! Totally yummy! Thank you so much for your kindness! I will be back! The waitress was great too!

Stopped by here after a Bills game before heading back on the highway to Ontario. We were hungry and cars weren’t moving, so we decided to eat here even though Applebee’s really hasn’t been our favourite in our hometowns. Even though the restaurant was pretty busy, service was actually pretty good. We had a really nice server who was pretty quick and did her best to keep the sodas topped up and checked on us when we needed it. She even kept a good mood when she was getting a little harassment from a nearby table of young guys who looked like they had a few beers at the game. My friend and I got the 2 for $ 20 deal that came with an appetizer and 2 meals. Pretty good deal in my mind, so I ordered the Fiesta Lime Chicken and my friend had a chicken/shrimp meal. Both were tolerable, not fantastic, but filling and not awful tasting. We had the onion rings for our appetizer and damn we those good. Overall a pretty good experience, actually better than the service I’ve had at the same restaurant in my home city. Conveniently located on the way out from the stadium too, so who knows, we might be back.
