I don’t go to Applebee’s too often but decided to come for dinner with my boyfriend. We were sat at a high top in the bar area even though there were plenty or open tables throughout the restaurant. Our server wasn’t super friendly but he wasn’t bad. When I asked him about drink specials he wasn’t sure what they were and had to find out at the bar.(I think the specials are the same every night). Our order came quick and the food was actually really good, as was my margarita. Though I don’t think I’d come here for dinner very often, I wouldn’t mind coming back for an appetizer and a drink. I would say this restaurant fits exactly what you would expect from this kind of chain.

I would like to update my review for Applebee’s on Transit Rd. As nice as it looked for personnel to respond to my negative post on Unilocal, all it was was a response to make themsetlves look better on Unilocal(it has been a week and i havent gotten a call as i was promised). As far as the hazardous floor goes, it looks like there main goal is to protect themselves against any liabilty by putting up a sign without mopping AFTER i fell on the wet floor. They should be ashamed. I don’t even work there and i was worried about other’s falling. I no longer care if they call, because they obviously don’t care that service was bad and floor was dangerous, but moreso their image on an online review. What I would recommend is a larger carpet in the front entrance for the safety of your patrons. I will definitely not be returning to that restaurant in the future, and will make sure friends and share this experience with friends and family.

I just had lunch there our waitress Lynn was very nice. I had the grilled oriental chicken salad which was absolutely delicious, and my friend had a pecan chicken salad which she thoroughly enjoyed. The only thing I wish they would add to the menu would be their lunch special all you can eat soup and salad, I like the fact that you could get a smaller portion and sample the different varieties of soup and salad you have to offer.

Quality and quantity of the food is great for the price. Love the half price apps. Always a mellow place for a good meal.

This is a great Applebee’s. It’s a great location and it’s set up very nicely. The food is good, the drinks are sort of cheap and the service is great. Not to mention they have trivia there, so that’s pretty cool!

Why are the mixed vegetable always a FAIL? Carrots always too hard, broccoli undercooked and squash is mushy. My steak was good though.

I know it’s a chain but I seem to always go to Applebee’s with the expectation of more. The food is okay, people are okay, the atmosphere is acceptable, I guess it’s just a good solid 2 ½ stars. It’s comfortable and when I leave I feel as though the money was well spent. I don’t feel ripped off. But I feel unsatisfied somehow. I just wish there was more! This trip or should I say adventure I thought I’d try the fish and chips. Check out the picture to see what it was like. For some reason, I guess personal preferences, I like the skin on my fish. At Applebee’s they remove it from the fillet. The fish itself was flaky, a nice piece of fish a little small but tasty. I didn’t care for the coating that was on the fish when it jumped in the fryer. I had a hard time finding a word to describe it, it was almost like a pastry. It was flaky and airy like a pastry. I found it just weird didn’t belong on fish. The fries yeah they’re great the usual Applebee fries. I usually don’t like seasoned fries but these they’re good. My wife opted for the chicken fingers she said they were good they were on the plus side is first chicken fingers go. Of course they came with the fries but then I’ve said enough about the fries. This is getting very frustrating I don’t know what’s wrong this morning. It has doubled up my pictures I’ve edited this review about three times each time it tells me it can’t update the review right now try again later. So I save the draft try to edit again get the same message I finally deleted it I think it’s better to just stop and leave it where it is. To end this thing quickly let’s just say that Applebee’s is comfortable, it’s warm, friendly, a nice place to eat. Would I go back sure for all the reasons in the previous sentence. I wish I knew what I was doing wrong. I’m off to Hilton head I had enough of this cold if you got any answers for me look for me at Frankie bones i’m Hilton head. I’ll be the guy at the bar sticking pins in the iPad using Windows 6.

I’m not a fan of chain restaurants, but I AM a fan of trivia and«Applebee’s» has trivia EVERY Friday night(who knew?) Five of us went here last night for dinner and to show off our amazing intellect. The service was very friendly and the setting was warm and inviting. And, the place was packed. It was kind of like homecoming… we saw so many people we knew. I guess that’s what it means to be a «NEIGHBORHOOD Grill and Bar». Fun! We started with a couple of orders of «Brew Pub Pretzels & Beer Cheese Dip». I honestly could have grabbed that entire plate of warm sticks and gooey dip for myself, stopped right there, and been perfectly happy(with the addition of a beer, of course), but alas I had to share ‘em… so I ordered a burger too. My «Cowboy Burger»(topped with bacon, crispy onion strings, cheese and barbecue sauce… and served with french fries, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles) was honestly not really good. The roll was overly toasted, the cheese was nowhere to be found, and there were so many crispy onions that they overpowered the entire burger. I felt as though I was eating onion rings on a burnt bun. The lettuce was wilted and the tomatoes anemic(yeah…I know it’s January in Buffalo… but still…). The fries were good and the pickle discs were crisp and delicious. For dessert we shared the«Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae»(a warm chocolate chunk cookie topped with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, Oreo cookie pieces, and whipped cream). It was huge, but the cookie was a bit stale and the ice cream had a few ice crystals in it(man…I’m picky!) but(bonus!) the whipped cream(while out of a can) was real. The trivia was the highlight of the evening. It was run by «DJ Trivia» and 20 teams participated. Three rounds with increasingly difficult questions posted on TV monitors… all-or-nothing bonus rounds… and the promise of winning teams receiving gift certificates kept the excitement high. How’d we do? Well… we were tied for last place… but that’s just because we blew it all on the final all-or-nothing question of the night… no guts, no glory! We really are an intelligent bunch. Yeah! REALLY!!!
