The Bead Gallery saved Christmas! Today, my husband took a necklace that I’d had custom-made in Houston to the Bead Gallery, because it was too long for my mother-in-law. The staff were very helpful, and were able to make it the ideal length for her, and charged less than $ 3.00 for the repair! The did it on the spot, while he waited. This meant that rather than giving my dear MIL an almost good gift, we were able to give her EXACTLY what she wanted. In future, when we visit family in Buffalo, and wish to give gifts, we’ll go the Bead Gallery first for their custom work(which is MUCH better priced that Houston!) Thanks Bead Gallery.

Good place to find lucite, plastic and chech crystals beads. They have a good selection of charms too. They have a very small selection of semi precious stones and pearls. The staff is really nice and the prices are ok.

As the previous reviewer commented, this place is indeed heaven for jewelry makers. The store has a large variety of beads, fasteners, and any other jewelry making part you could ever desire. The staff is friendly and helpful, and can answer almost any question you may have. Even if you’re an amateur jewelry maker, they don’t make you feel intimidated to ask questions. Also, they do have classes and birthday parties, which I think would be fun for older kids or a small group of adult friends to attend. The beads are decently priced, considering that they are either charged per bead, per hank, or per string(depending on the bead). You could get things cheaper at the chain craft stores, but there is much more variety at this store, as well as better products. Your bill does add up quickly, but to me, it’s worth paying more for customer service, great variety, and a nice store.

The Bead Gallery has a lovely assortment of beads, whether they are glass, crystal, stone, wooden, or charms. They offer classes and even host parties. Their beads are well priced, but things add up quickly considering you pay per bead. But the beads are unique and very different. It’s definitely heaven for anyone who makes jewelry. The store is clean and well organized and the staff is very friendly. They are also very knowledgable about the different types of beads. They also have a store card. When it fills up, you get a discount. You don’t have to worry about losing your card because they keep it on file. It’s very nifty!
