Very disappointed … We walked in and we were completely ignored. We weren’t sure if we seat ourselves or if someone seats us-the bartender yells from the bar, «Go sit.» We sit down and receive no menus. We go up to the bar and ask for menus and she acted like we were putting her out. We had a young waiter who came to our table once in the 45 minutes that we were there to take our order. We flagged him down and kindly asked him about when we will be receiving our food-he stated that he just asked the cook and he «yelled» at him when he asked about our dinner. When he stated this-we asked to speak to the manager. She«REFUSED» to come to our table and provide great customer service. She told the young waiter to tell us that we have to pay for our drinks but the«salads» were on them. The lack of customer service skills, friendly smiles, communication, & over all positive experience is quite disappointing. There is no excuse to treat your customers this way. The surrounding tables were just as irritated as we were & I am 100% sure they will not be returning as well.

Worst service of my lifetime. The bartender was mad that we were there and made her guests get their own drinks from behind the bar. She was mean. Mean as in, «are we in the twilight zone?» mean. Ruined our entire paint night. I’m a server and my husband is our kitchen manager. We work over 50 hrs a week and this is how we were treated. Thanks, Christie.(Not sure how you spell it)

Very disappointed that the beer selection is so limited. Really, no Sam Adams in a bottle? Pathetic. What makes it pathetic is that they list it as an available beer on their beer list

Wow what a horrible experience! My wife bought a groupon for this place and we had never been so we thought we would check it out. The first sign should’ve been that once we entered there was only one other couple in the restaurant on a Friday night. First we ordered fried green beans for an app which was around $ 6. They bring out a few over cooked green beans on a small side salad plate with a little plastic cup of ranch dressing. Not a good start but still looking forward to dinner. My wife ordered the chicken stir fry with beer cheese soup and I ordered the chicken wing basket with onion rings. At this time we now we’re the only customers in the place and there were five employees talking by the bar so I was hoping the service would be good, the numbers were on our side with this one, or at least I thought. I had to wait 20 min just to get a refill in my drink because they never checked in us until our entrees were brought out. My wife got her chicken stir fry and immediately noticed there was no rice in the stir fry, just a plate of diced chucked and veggies. My wife informed the waitress if the issue and the waitress said there isn’t suppose to be rice with the stir fry. My wife told her it said there was on the menu, the server then said she didn’t know but would go check. The waitress left for a couple minutes and said it is suppose to come with rice but they were out so the cooks put some extra veggies in there and that if she wanted rice they could start making some but it would take 20 minutes! Are you kidding me? How once the cook knows there is no rice inform the guest before he starts cooking it. And how does a waitress not know that a chicken stir fry is suppose to be served with rice? We didn’t want to wait an extra 20 minutes so my wife told her it’s fine. Her stir fry was absolutely horrible! The chicken tasted like it has been frozen for 6 months, horrible veggies in a bland watery sauce. Then her beer cheese soup… It had a very grainy texture and I still have no idea what that was from. It was almost like you were eating sand and it was extremely salty. My chicken wings were actually pretty good, I had the oriental sauce on them and no complaints there. My onion rings in the other hand were really bad… It tasted like they microwaved frozen opinion rings, just bad. The waitress returned and my wife had only probably had a few bites is her food because it was so bad so the waitress asked her if she would like a box, wife said no and she took the plate away. My wife doesn’t like to complain about food so she didn’t say anything, but you would think a waitress would maybe ask if everything was alright when she sees that she didn’t eat anything… Nope. When the waitress grabbed the plate and my wife didn’t say anything, I made a comment that it the dish wasn’t very good, the waitress ignored the comment completely. My son got a kids cheese pizza which he ate and I didn’t try so I’m assuming it was fine. So a hour later we were out the door almost as hungry as when we entered, at least we had a groupon so we we only had to pay $ 25 for that horrible food. Will never return and would advise you to do the same!

If I had a way to do negative stars I would. Servers were completely rude and left us sit with no acknowledgement. Ignored us as we stood at the door, took there time and went to the kitchen, set a table, etc bit did not bother to say hello or offer menus or drinks. Just said«go sit in that booth over there» and waved us off. The server chatted with someone at the bar and just ignored us. If this is the way they treat guests, DONOT stop. I used to own a restaurant and if my staff had treated guests that way, they would be fired. Could not tell you how the food was as we didn’t even get a menu offered to us. When we said we were going elsewhere since we seemed to be bothering them she waved and smiled like we were the problem. Unbelievable. Won’t ever be back.

This is the best kept secret in Buffalo. It is tucked behind the bowling alley so you have to know where it is to get here. but the food is outstanding. They put a lot of time and effort into the menu and it shows. If you ever get a chance to talk with Les(the owner) you will quickly learn that all of the items used in the menu are hand selected and they are willing to try new things. Great place for a date or a family meal. The broasted Chicken and the BBQ ribs are fantastic togo items. Love this place.

This is a restaurant with full bar, banquet rooms, game room, and more, located behind Huikko’s Bowling in Buffalo. It was added in the large renovation of the site a few years back and it took us a while to check it out. I’m sorry it took us that long! The food is casual but nice, and they have very adventurous chefs who push the envelope with flavors. Dill Pickle Soup is one of their creations and it’s quite good. Their soups are a tad on the salty side but full of flavor and all homemade. I’ve tried a few things there over the last few years and it’s all been great. We took my daughter’s grandparents there and her grandma ordered the teriyaki stir fry and she wasn’t impressed. I think she didn’t like the sauce or something. I’ve had it and I love it, so I guess to each his/her own. They also do carry-out. Just call ahead with your order. They have at least two banquet halls for weddings(popular) and other events, and lots of televisions at the bar with various sports/news programs on them. Their mother’s day brunch is very good, too. There is a game room across a small hall(hall leads to the bowling alley with windows to see the machines at the back of the lanes which is cool) with a pool table and various other games. My daughter loves it. The kids meals are decently portioned, and their kids pasta is hearty enough for an adult! This is another Gem in Buffalo. If I were to be married, this is a venue I’d definitely look into for my reception.
