I had a horrifying experience here with a very dear loved one. Long story made short this person, in an inpatient setting, was administered bilateral ECT 4 times, even knowing she had previous head trauma and would’ve been more likely to have cognitive decline associated with the bilateral ECT. Also after the 6th procedure her hand was badly bruised (this was the site used for anesthesia delivery). I asked to speak with the anesthesiologist (i was health care proxy in this case). I was ignored. Completely ignored. That is unacceptable plain and simple. Go to this hospital as a last resort. Unless you are ok with psychiatric staff that is disinterested in your well being.

It is the only place to go if you are relegated to a different hospital other than ecmc.
Life should not be this difficult however they make it crap.
