Choco Logo Confectionary

Ohhhhhh myyyyyyy — as Takai would say. Imagine my surprise as I drove downtown and noticed this store. While I’m in the area often I somehow had missed this.
I don’t eat a lot of chocolate but it’s a much sought after treat after dinner in my house. So I’m often buying a few pieces for a treat. Since chocolate is best soon after its made, I prefer small chocolatiers.
I did a u-​turn and came right back. Parked in one of their reserved spots. Checked out the signs on the door, one says «if the placard is out, we are in». You then ring a bell and someone lets you in. That’s because this small storefront has a large chocolate making facility behind it. A la «Charlie and the Chocolate Factory». Seriously. You can see part of it from the store.
The store itself has a few shelves filled with a chocolate popcorn product, looked good but I didn’t pick any up. There is a display of individual chocolates as well. A variety of flavors. Some dark and some milk chocolate options. And then there were the «salted turtles». Bought one each of milk and dark chocolate. Those things were super. I also picked up some truffles, 4 different flavors. All were greatly enjoyed.
They also have chocolate bars (made in house ones) and some other products.
The name «Choco Logo» indicates what they also do a brisk business in. They make chocolate bars and related things for companies, with logos or sayings on them. They have clients from across the country I was told. I believe it.
I will be back. I love buying hand and recently made chocolates. I forgot to mention, they come packaged in a cute easy bag that could easily be brought as a small hostess gift as well.
