Georgetown Apartments of Amherst

Cool place. My aunt lives here. Looks very old on the outside but the inside of the apartments are quite nice! Very nice pool and lounge area as well. Clean and quiet and rent is very reasonable!

I loved living here. I loveddd the tranquility of the area. I loved the huge bedrooms, and how quiet my neighbors were. Also, maintenance was very efficient and got the job done.
BUT, Ashley management has taken over and the new management is the worst! The rental office DOES NOT answer the phone. If you have an emergency, you are better off going into the office b/​c this lady will not answer. She must hate her job. She admitted to me that she forgot to return the messages that I left. She complained about being understaffed, yet before she got there the office was run efficiently with Tina Long only. She’s so unprofessional that bc of her, I would not rent here if I moved back to Buffalo. She lied about when I would be getting my security deposit back, just to get me out of the office. I moved away, and still haven’t received it, and I guess I won’t since she dodges my calls.
Also, to prove how unprofessional this woman is: While I was still a resident, she called me one afternoon with the phone on speaker. She had a potential family that was interested in the complex with her. She completely put me on the spot by asking me how much i ‘loveee’ living at georgetown. I didn’t even know this woman! Then she had the nerve to ask me if she could give the family a tour of my apartment, EVEN THOUGH I WASNT THERE. Hell no! You dont give tours of inhabited apartments while people arent home you psycho!
Ok my rant is over lol. But bottom line, don’t rent from this place. Take your hard earned money to Dannybrook or somewhere that has good customer service. Anywhere but this place.
