Decent selection if you are looking for one or two bottles to bring to a party. If you are looking to stock your wine bar at your house, I would go elsewhere and here’s why. Their selection isn’t all that impressive. Like more wine and liquor stores, they have their bottles separated by grape. They have about thirty different bottles of cabernet. Some cabernet, like their Twenty Bench is on par price wise with other liquor stores(Premier, in particular) Then you pick up another bottle like the, Los Vascos Cabernet(crappy wine) and it’s $ 12, which is $ 2 more than any other liquor store sells this bottle for. So I mean, either have more expensive prices than competing stores, less expensive prices or match your prices. To be all over the board is frustrating because it makes me want to come and buy one bottle here and then go to the next place and continue my wine shopping. I will say that I didn’t find one bottle that I recognized here that was less expensive than any other place I go to. Their organic wine selection was very minimal too. They did have a pretty impressive selection of Pinot Noirs but I don’t like Pinot so that didn’t tickle my fancy. Just an average wine and liquor store in all honesty, that I probably won’t return to unless I am in the area and need to pick something up last minute.

I’ve never had a bad experience here. It’s a large store. They have all the liquors here and even better, the knockoffs. Who even pays for Baileys when Ryan’s exists?! Anyway, I always feel like I’m getting a deal when I walk in, whether it be a wine on special or percentage off for buying 3 or more bottles! Good selection, good price points too. They got the cheap ‘Relax, franzia’ type to very nice dry reds. The employees are always super nice and helpful and I’m trying to pin down their tasting table schedule so I can get a free tasting when I buy! I used to hang out in the finger lakes so more of those wineries would be nice to see, they make good wine over there. Overall, great place with good prices

This is a local favorite liquor store. As long as I can remember its been in the plaza next to the bagel place(which has had different names/focus). Its fairly large once inside. The selection is a nice one actually. While they don’t offer hundreds of different wines, those they offer are at varying price points and varying flavor profiles. That is nice, especially if you are tasked(as I often am) with pairing wine to the food being offered. They have a robust selection of spirits and liquors. And it rotates by season. Cant argue about that! Prices here are reasonable. On occasion, if you are lucky, there will be a tasting when you walk in. DOIT! Try before you buy. Does it get better? Don’t think so. 3 stars. They do what is expected of a liquor shop. But, they don’t take AMEX, which, for a business, is surprising. So bring your cash, Visa or MC and you will be fine. This parking lot is usually pretty easy, but on occasion people are driving less carefully then they should, so watch out.

I used to live by Great Arrow Wine and Liquor, so it was my go-to place for wine and liquor just out of convenience. I now find myself going out of my way to come here. It has a great selection, great prices, and the store itself is big enough to make a decision and wander around without being overwhelmed. I always am greeted with a friendly«hello» and not aggressively approached. Just, customer service here seems awesome. There are also fun specials and events they hold. I’ve never intended to go there for an event, but I find myself excited by the prospect of running into one. The specials usually are about purchasing multiple bottles of wine, you’ll get a certain percentage off. Excellent — more than one bottle of wine is necessary anyway. But yeah, I recommend this store for customer service, selection(which isn’t exhaustive, but you’ll be happy), and generally good prices.

This liquor store is located in an extremely convenient location for me. That alone, is enough for me to give it 4 stars. Anything that is located in a spot that makes it easy for me to attain coming from work or home, automatically becomes a repeat destination for me. I used to frequent this liquor store about 3 years ago when I lived off of Parkside. After moving deeper into the city(Allentown/Westside neighborhood), it was no longer convenient for me, and I stopped coming here. Fast forward one more time, and I am close by again. After the liquor stores I used to frequent on Elmwood & Allen, I have a much deeper appreciation for Great Arrow than I did 3 years ago. The employees who work here(all men) are always exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They truly seem happy when they are here. Not just the typical employee putting on a smile to get that dollar. I don’t think they have the cheapest prices(Premier), however they are considerably lower than the liquor stores you will find on Elmwood. They also have a vast selection. I haven’t run into a time thus far when I wasn’t able to find something I came for. Usually once a week(or so) they have different wine or liquor vendors inside giving free samples of their product. Most recently I discovered that on Thursdays, they have a «create your own wine 6 pack». You can throw together a six pack containing any kind of wine for any price, and you receive 15% off! I will now be making all my wine purchases on Thursdays.(This may have been going on for quite some time, maybe this was just the first time I noticed).

When I need wine — this is where I go. They discount the wine once you purchase 3 bottles(I think 10%). They recently expanded and have a lot more selection. Service is always great too!
