I’ve been going here to do so cross country skiing. I live 3 mins away from it so it’s really convenient. It’s been quiet and rare to see anyone else out about on the course. I can get a decent 2 – 2.2 mile loop in pretty quick and efficiently. It’s a nice urban treeish setting. Nice to be able to do it so conviniently and have options other than Delaware park thats around this size.
They just started to groom (still too little snow really), but nice that they provide a groomed circuit too for those who are just starting out. Go check it out if you want a quick and convenient place to get your ski kick in.

Buffalo, NY
This «park» is right on Main and Bailey. Across from UB South Campus. I say park., because from a distance it looks like one. Its only when you get closer that you realize its a golf course.
Its got a golf course and you often see people playing there in the right weather. You also see people walking their dog in the area and in the winter doing some snowshoeing.
For a golf course in the middle of the city, its nice to see the green space. I’m not sure how good the course is, but it does look to be well cared for and groomed as needed.
