Absolutely horrid Doctor. I am a 21 year old female that came to Doctor Trock for the first time since being out of pediatric care. I was experiencing very painful symptoms of a newly diagnosed IBS. Other than getting to my appointment perfectly on time, I had to wait in the waiting room for over an HOUR until I could see him. Sat there while I watched people come in after me and get called in before me. It was completely unnessasary. Then I get called back to be seen and the nurse that took me back was VERY rude. I asked her why I had to wait so long in a very friendly manner, and all I get back was «dr Trock got held up, step on the scale.» Kept my mouth shut tight until I got in the doctors office where I had to wait another 35 minutes for someone to see me. A nurse practitioner came in asked me questions and left then another 10 minutes later Doctor trock came in with a student assistant which he asked if she could be present. I said sure. This doctor stood there asking my questions about my bowels like it disgusted him. He shot me very judgemental glances and made me feel disgusting. I walked out of that office NO CLOSER to finding a soulution to my painful embarrassing problem. Dr trock is a croc. I will never ever go back there again.

I feel real lucky to be a patient at Highgate both for the friendly& professional medical doctor (Bodkin) but for the physician assistants that I have seen. In addition to the fact that all visits are recorded in a computer for my personal file, and after each visit I receive a full computer recap of my visit. If a quick refill is in order they are quick to respond. Lastly I like how fast I can get into see the MD or PA and that they are open Saturday AM.

I have been to this place for quite some time and I have always had problems. This last incident I have had enough which brought me here and let me start off by saying I never in my life have written a bad review. On Dec. 23^rd about a week ago, I normally would have my routine prescription sent to my pharmacy. I received a phone call from my pharmacy telling me that I need to call my doctor because they didn’t receive my prescription as usual. I called them and got an answering machine so I left a message to either refill it or call me back. I never got a call back so I thought that maybe it went okay and since Christmas was the next couple of days, I figured I would give them some time. Keep in mind, my health insurance runs out today Dec. 31. So yesterday I had to call my pharmacy to see if anything went through and low and behold, NOTHING. Good thing my life doesn’t depend on this prescription! So therefore I called my doctor once again and finally talked to someone who told me «oh I’m sorry, sometimes prescriptions get lost in translation» yet again, good thing my life doesn’t depend on these pills. So I told her that my health insurance runs out tonight at midnight and apparently she didn’t hear me correctly and tried scheduling me for an appointment. Look I’m 26 years old and a college student. You honestly think I’m going to go to a doctors appointment for a check up and pay that kind of money to know that I’m already healthy? Anyways, she sent it over to my pharmacy, and once it was ready I go and pick it up and oh look, my total comes out to be $ 400 instead of $ 5!!! So all because of this stupid, idiotic mistake, I am no longer getting my prescription that I was depending on to last me till I can find health insurance of my own. So thank you Highgate medical staff members, you really made my new years.

I’d leave no stars if I could. Seriously the worst bedside manner possible. Rude and awful care. Every visit between my wife an myself it has been over an hour wait in the exam room. I have to remind them that I am still here. This is the last time.
90 minute wait times in the room!!!

RUN FAST! I was a patient a couple years ago and was treated horribly. Whenever friends are asking around for a new doctor, I ask where they currently go and the answer is CONSISTENTLY Highgate Medical. I was laughed at when I received a diagnosis from a test, they wouldn’t even try to accommodate schedules, they would write low quantity prescriptions with multiple refills when they could all go in one bottle for just one lower price (this was confirmed by a pharmacist), and their on call doctors don’t respond. I finally stood up for myself and told the doctor I expected (and demanded) fair treatment and that’s when I went to a different practice. This place is unprofessional.

My wife had a visit with Dr. Trock.
We were very impressed by his professionalism and candor.
We recently moved to the area and needed a PCP. He was recommended for my wife after a hospital stay, and I was so impressed that I am switching my medical care to his office!
