I passed by Matt’s a few times before I googled it to know its exact whereabouts. When I realized that it’s busiest when it’s supposed to be(when those who work a traditional work week are free) I knew I found a good place, which was right around the time I’d earned a free load of laundry by surprise, a regular plus when washing your clothes at Matt’s. That’s right. You do a few wash-and-dries, and you get a free $ 2-something on Matt. Other advantages include: three large love seats, ample folding areas, WiFi, wall-to-wall televisions, tolerable music(But I usually bring my iPod.), clean bathrooms, a walled off play area for the wee ones, two vending machines, and a mini coffee shop. The pièce de résistance? An industrial strength surface cleaner for their bathrooms and tabletops. If you’re nice, they’ll let you use a bit to clean the folding area you’ve staked. The first time Matt let me use it, he said that the product boasts enough disinfectant power to kill HIV among other serious diseases, and he was sh — -n’ me either. The label really makes this claim. Lastly, the 8 stops at Dewey and at Leroy, so it’s never too far to walk(especially during the winter). And if you ever miss the bus when the weather’s too much to handle, you can always go back inside and sit a spell. NB: The URL currently provided isn’t accurate, so I’m pasting it here. It’s not , it’s .

No need for countless quarters, this biz accepts only prepaid cards ! Ez parking, but locale is sketchy. Diverse clientele between locals & college kids. Layout needs to be reconfigured, w/too much wasted space w/lounge room, kiddie play area, broken vending machines, & dated arcade games &TV wall. Bathrooms clean. Dry cleaning sub– contracted thru wesselman’s on Colvin. High turnover rate amongst employees. Fairly clean, but furniture stained ! Transfer baskets need to be increased, & existing carts all need new wheels. Many units stay out of order too long.
